Is the thong dead?

I don't really think the thong is dead, however it does tend to look pretty sleezy on certain types. Especially the girls that wear white pants and a very dark thong.

I remember the days before I was married, if I was talking to a girl and was able to deduce what she was wearing was a thong I would usually stop trying to get in her pants. It takes away from the fun of guessing what kind and color she had on. I hope that doesn't sound creepy or weird, I think most guys will agree with me though. It was always more exciting for me to see girl's underwear when she was ready for me to see and then see if I was right about the cut and color.

well i am not an expert with what these things are or aren't or what they are called or no. why would the author talk about something and then put a picture of the direct opposite of what you write about. so confused. he should have put a picture of a thong then as the main picture. i feel people either got something on or you dont. Not a big deal.

Thongs have more material in the rear at the intersection of the vertical and horizontal straps. G-strings are just a "T".

The only difference is where they meet at the top of the crack. A thong usually has a triangle that tapers down and a g-string is basically just a string attatched to another string.

I much prefer the boy shorts (as wrong as it sounds to say) but I highly doubt the thong is even receding, let alone dead. It will always trump when the outfit calls for dress pants or any other semi-tight pants that aren't denim.

Why not? Those are boy shorts, the things that have replaced the thong in the authors mind.

As long as the naughty girls still wear thongs thats all that matters. There should be restrictions on who wears them, just like tight clothing. Some should just not be allowed.
 
The thing that makes the thong work is the tease factor. When a girl is in some tight pants and she bends over and you sneak a peak. That is what a thong does well.:cool: /perv

I hate thongs, their actually a turn off to me. A girl in some cute panties however....:)
