I got my iPhone SE in March 2017 and after updating to 11.3 and checking the capacity it says I have 90% capacity. Is this good?

Did the on/off switch get triggered to prevent any throttle? Mine says 94% and no turn off option. Someone else said the other day that he had 93% indicated and the on/off option was visible so it could be toggled if desired.
I would think 90% would be good tho and isn't about 80% where Apple will do a change out?

I don’t think a 10% and battery degradation is unreasonable after one year. Obviously your usage and everybody else’s will differ.

As long as the battery level drains at a normal rate (no jumping of charge up or down) and doesn't turn off the phone when the battery is not empty it means the battery can supply the needed power. 90% is good.

Hmmm, ok, then not sure when that option shows up. Supposed to be included in todays update. I have been using the new battery heath monitor for a while on the beta and hae not seen the toggle either but when it drops to a point it should appear I'm thinking. Maybe someone who knows will chime in. Also was wondering when the cpu throttling kicks in. Maybe that triggers the other.

    iPhone 7 Plus: 93% (October 2016)
    iPhone X: 99% (November 2017)

Toggle shows up once there's been an unexpected shutdown. It's not tied to a certain battery percentage. It also depends on the conditions of the environment. A cold day may trigger an unexpected shutdown.

Most people are expected to see the performance management toggle at 80%. Some batteries are better than others so they might not see the toggle until <80%
