So I've never done anything like this before, but I'm just so excited for the new iPhone that I got together with a couple of my friends and decided to throw a party for watching the WWDC stream together.

I made "iPhone sandwiches", in which I cut out bread in the exact dimensions of an iPhone, and sculpted a home button and earpiece in the bread. They are filled with chicken salad and lettuce. I made "Apple Apple" fruit salad, in which I cut up red, green, and Fuji apples, added red grapes and cantaloupe. I also made "App Store" pasta salad. And the piece de resistance, an iPhone-shaped chocolate cake, complete with home screen and colored frosting to show different apps.

I plan to invite about 10-12 people over, all fellow iPhone fans, and we're going to watch the live event while we eat an early brunch and toast to Apple.

Does this sound cool? I don't want people to laugh at me.

Not to disappoint you but there is no Live Stream. You'll all be reading live blogs at best. If you want to watch video of the event you'll have to wait until later in the day when Apple posts it on their website. Sorry, bro.

Where did I say that I only invited people 11 minutes ago???

The mix of "I plan to invite" and "Does this sound cool? I don't want people to laugh at me" implies that you had not yet invited at the time of making this post.

Are you male/female?

A. if you chose female it would be acceptable, other females like cute food items.

B. if you chose male, you might want to just get some beer and KFC. lol

Is there a live video stream of it? Or is it the Engadget updates where they post them every couple of minutes or so?

So your stereotyping now?

No. Hes right

The 10-12 people is the amount hes planing on having at the party. Hes planing to have 10-12 people.

sounds weird, but hey if it makes you and your friends happy thats all that matters.

Aside from the gibberish at the end of your post, he could have been planing this for a while and just thought of telling everyone.

Attached image for win.

Also, planing != planning, you are full of fail.

To further enhance your party, after everyone is done eating;

Say " And one more thing" ( Or w/e SJ says) Then bring out the cake!:D

Wording/context error... Jesus Christ, forgive me. When I say "I plan to invite", I simply mean I plan for them to come. Yes folks confirm, but that doesn't mean it's set in stone.

And FYI, I said I don't want folks to laugh at me... I meant, once they arrive at my apartment.

I only told them there's food, alcohol and we're gonna celebrate the conference... I never told them WHAT kind of food, so that's why I don't want them to walk in and bust up laughing.

Don't worry, your going to have a blast! I'd go if I was invited for sure.

Just remember to include a 'And 1 more thing....' at the end then shock the party with 3.... yes 3 flavours of ice cream of which all are available TODAY!

Apparently you aren't aware of XciteMe's reputation.
