Are you and your party guests going to be watching WWDC like a football game? The thought of that is hilarious and very very very awkward.

Haha this idea seriously reminds me of the Windows 7 launch party that was on the adverts a while back... :p Or was it just a spoof?

This is soo weird. I'm also throwing a similar party tomorrow except mines a sleepover and I've only got 12 girls from SDSU confirmed for the party.

thats nerdtastic!

Sorry, but I don't think Apple allows those things to be associated with the iPhone.

So even though this party might have been previously approved, it must now be removed.

The party has obviously been Jailbroken, I thought that much went without saying

So I've never done anything like this before, but I'm just so excited for the new iPhone that I got together with a couple of my friends and decided to throw a party for watching the WWDC stream together.

I made "iPhone sandwiches", in which I cut out bread in the exact dimensions of an iPhone, and sculpted a home button and earpiece in the bread. They are filled with chicken salad and lettuce. I made "Apple Apple" fruit salad, in which I cut up red, green, and Fuji apples, added red grapes and cantaloupe. I also made "App Store" pasta salad. And the piece de resistance, an iPhone-shaped chocolate cake, complete with home screen and colored frosting to show different apps.

I plan to invite about 10-12 people over, all fellow iPhone fans, and we're going to watch the live event while we eat an early brunch and toast to Apple.

Does this sound cool? I don't want people to laugh at me.

Have fun, a lot of people do these sort of get togethers for their favorite sports or other activity. I view your party within the same frame of mind as the others have when they do their thing. Enjoy, it's a free country..

Man I want to come.

The people that are giving you a hard time are just jealous they weren't invited.

So far 9 males have confirmed coming, and 2 girls confirmed.

Can anyone say "sausage fest" haha.

Sorry don't mean to take the piss but it's pretty funny, each to their own I suppose. Have a good one!

yeah I wouldn't expect anything less than a hot dog party for a WWDC theme. but wutevs, don't always need girls to enjoy a party... although it does help :D

Pics or it isn't real.

LOL! You had me til 'App Store Pasta salad'... a little too much. But hey, as long as beer is served, it's a party. As a matter of fact, you should tie in the whole theme with German beer ;)

I would've loved for the race to be rained out today and run tomorrow. If that happened I would go home at lunch and get some pizza/beer and watch both. What an awesome afternoon that would be.
