Is TomTom ever coming out?

While so many are waiting, I bought Navigon a week ago and have already used it for several trips. It has a little room for improvement, but it's pretty good. It's also version 1.0, so there will be updates making it better. At $69-, I feel good about my decision not to wait.

have just come off the phone to friendly insider at TomTom, who said she absolutely cannot tell me that it will be available on iTunes app store within 2 weeks.

They better (and hopefully) be, since that's Aug 14 you're talking about.

I bought Navigon and I like it as a basic GPS unit.

However, I've been a TomTom user for years now. So, if this app ever comes out, I will probably pick it up as well.

This is true. I'm waiting until the last moment and if TomTom isn't out, I'm buying Navigon. Tick tock TomTom...

Exactly... this really p****s me off.... i would have liked the opportunity to see comparisons before losing out on a getting a good price....
