Man I upgraded from the 6+ and I'm really not as happy as I thought I'd be. It has some good and bad (as all phones do). Certain lack of features kill the upgrade for me. No battery percentage on battery life or Bluetooth devices is a con. Phone is much smaller than I'd thought it would be also. I probably should've hit the Apple store before jumping the gun. The 8+ may have been a better upgrade for me as of right now. We'll see if that changes overtime.

I swore that I would exercise self-control this year and not fall prey to the hype but now that the X is just around the corner I'm starting to have second thoughts. $1000 is a lot of money for a phone, especially when there's nothing wrong with my current one. Is anyone else in a similar situation? Also, are we pretty much limited to either full retail price or monthly installments via an annual upgrade plan now that subsidized pricing is essentially non-existent?
Totally worth it upgrading from 7 plus to X. I did it and love X better than plus. X has a perfect size with plus benefits (memory, battery, camera, etc) including large screen size. Plus is too bulky in my pant pocket and certainly too big for shirt pocket. X is perfect size for pockets on pants and shirts.
