umm cuz im waiting for the new iPhone? why would i leave now? to get an iPhone 4s? im leaving the day i get the phone in my hand.

if you guys dont like verizons pricing, you are more then welcome to stop giving them your money and take your business elsewhere. and if verizon or att is your only alternatives? tough ****. maybe instead of bitching about thier pricing you should be bitching at tmobile and sprint for not having adequate coverage in your area. it takes lots of $$$ to provide the kind of coverage these 2 telcos provide which results in higher prices. like i always say, you get what you pay for.

i pay $69 a month currently with sprint for 450 mins, free mobile to mobile, unlimited text and data and i will be more then glad to pay verizon an extra $30 a month if it means i can get off this so called '3g' network that sprint uses and get something fast and reliable

If you don't like hearing people complain, you can just switch threads as this one has a subject that clearly indicates its intent. I wanted to switch to Verizon, but their new pricing is preventing me, so I want to vent about it. If I never had any intention of switching, sure, I'd have no reason to complain (like the Android owners that like to come troll here), but since I did plan to switch, my gripe is legitimate. If you don't like it, tough ****.

go get yourself a better job, then you will be able to afford decent service without all the whining.

problem solved:)

I've got a great job, I just prefer to spend my money on camera gear and travel.

How about you leave this thread and you can stop all the whining? :D. Problem solved.

so for you its the 'principal' of it and not the cost right? right, cuz we all know if all these people bitching about verizon/att prices had money to pay for the service you wouldnt ever hear any complaints. pay the extra $$$, stop whining, and be thankful you're not on sprint cuz if you were youd be glad to pay a premium for good service

Yes, it is the principal in my case. Doesn't mean I don't have the right to complain about it in a thread specifically posted for that purpose. If you don't want to hear the venting, stop reading the thread. I on the other hand am joining the group in voicing my despise of the carriers and the direction they are taking the industry. And no, your assumption would be wrong. Having the money to pay for something doesn't preclude you from judging its true value. The carriers are rapidly shifting the value of data.

I also debated Sprint, but it seems their service in NYC is abysmal.

If Verizon is the only option in your area, shouldn't you be happy that you actually have a cell servIce? If there are other options, then switch carriers.

PS: the PRINCIPAL is really busy in the office right now handing out detentions and won't be available to make comments in the forum at this time
