Is Your iPhone 6 Defective In Any Way?

The flash on mine is not flush with the phone body. It's sunken in a bit. Is this normal?
Not that I care, I am happy with mine. Just wanted to know if it's a defect or if it's like this on every phone.

My iPhone 6's owner is an indecisive bozo who can't decide which phone to stick with! Does that count?

My iPhone 6 is great, I have even been able to get the battery life to last for 12 hours under heavy use. I average about 34 hours under moderate use. I'm a happy camper :)

Those being standby times, right?

My 6 plus screen keeps freezing. Any app, third party or native, lockscren or homescreen, doesn't matter where I'm at. It is very random and I cannot reproduce which is the thing that drives me nuts. I've had multiple calls from clients I couldn't answer because because my screen would not recognize my input to slide to answer. Not good and my clients definately let me know about it. If I'm unavailable no point in doing business.

Home button works because I can go back to homescreen if I'm in an app or bring up multitask
TouchID works because I can enable reachability or unlock my phone if its locked.
Lock button works because I can lock and turn on the screen.
Volume buttons work and if I have music playing the music continues to play and I can adjust volume if screen is froze up.

However, the screen does not respond when I touch it. I can let it sit for 15-25 seconds and it will start working again or I can do a reset and it will work.

I've done:
Updated to 8.3
Reset by power button and home button - didn't work
Reset all content and settings - didn't work
Restore with backup - didn't work
Restore and setup as new - didn't work

I'm 2 hours from an Apple Store so I've sent diagnostic reports to Apple after talking with Customer Service reps over the phone and they told me they can't find anything wrong with it. I don't have AppleCare and all I hear is Apple charging me $329 for a refurbed 6 Plus or $100+ for a new screen and they're not sure that'll fix it. I've gone back to my Droid Turbo because "it just works" but I really did love my iPhone.

No way of telling without phone doctor speeds. I guess try re-flashing the firmware on through iTunes but if it keeps on happening I'd be willing to bet it's the flash.

Don't believe TLC is used at all for 16 GB models.

It could be faulty regardless of wether it's TLC or MLC

Could be faulty other parts of the hardware as well realistically speaking. Phone Doctor won't really help with it especially if Apple's diagnostics didn't so far. But if restoring as new doesn't get it working the only realistic thing is to have it replaced by Apple somehow.

I am curious that not too many users have mentioned so i guess it happened only to my 6 plus... it started one month ago when my 6+ suddenly powered off... i couldnt power on it with power button.... only way was with power+home button. But after some seconds on sleep it auto powered off... i made a clean install and nothing changed... the issue fixed only after battery calibration but after a month it came back... the problem is that it does not happen all the time.... how the apple service will figure this out and so to give me a refurbish...?

My iPhone 6 has the crescent moon front-facing camera issue. I didn't notice if it was like that when I got it new at launch. I only noticed when I read a thread here about it a few months back.

Mine has a clicking sound in the top of the phone, it doesnt bother me, i didnt even realize it made a sound till i saw a thread about it. Sad.

It shouldn't matter that you don't have AppleCare -- it's still under warranty.

I've never dealt with Apple on a warranty issue (have always bought phones through my carrier); but if Apple won't accept your faulty phone (via mail) for service or replacement, simply because some dubious "diagnostic reports" don't show a problem... that stinks. Makes me not want to buy a phone directly from Apple.

My space gray iPhone got the loose screen at the bottom right. Got a replacement at the genius bar. Sadly, the replacement is defected as well. What is wrong with Apple these days. Come on. I expect more from a $800 phone
