It's been ages since I used the DVD Player back in OS X, let alone Blu-ray software. Is there any native support for playing Blu-rays in macOS?

Unfortunately not, as QuickTime Player doesn’t support BR. We’ve all had to use a 3rd party players.

Yes, it is common for hospitals, dental clinics, and so on to provide patients with medical reports in CD form. This is also a lot cheaper than providing the data in SD cards and thumb drives.

Isn't it crazy that Mac OS Tahoe 26.4 has a Burn button to customize the Finder's toolbar? Is there anyone who still burn CDs out there?

I burn DVDs, Blu-rays often. Mostly media. In case society collapses.
