iSync with Motorola a630 phone

arrrggh! Ok used the repair installer and then changed the repaired plist file. Still saying isync does not support this device. I'm really looking forward to finding a new phone that isync has support for without needing hacks. Ugh to Apple and Motorola for not having isync support this normally.
Even though I'd need special software for it I think I'll just get an mda and call it good. 10 handsets into this a630 and bluetooth, battery and random shutdowns later I'm giving up.

I am trying to get isync to see all my groups of contact and put them in the same categories that have the same name. The sync just dumps them in the all category. Any solutions?

I don't think Motorola<->iSync supports multiple categories. You can sync multiple iCal calendars to your phone, but everything from the phone has to go into one iCal calendar.

FYI, I just uploaded a new version for iSync 2.4 (part of 10.4.9).
