iTMS Canada Dec. 1 [NOW OPEN]

We must allow each Canadian to choose a language and be served in it... much tougher to manage... maybe it's simply a technical glitch. I've been following Apple since the late seventies and they ain't always that great at this. I love these guys but also don't expect perfection all the time either.

it just occurred to me: could anyone imagine an itunes south africa? my ex was south african and he told me that they have something like ELEVEN official languages!!! :eek:

Could even include other club members like India... Hong Kong, etc...
 
Well I do say there is room for 2 more stores when they get announced.
So maybe they are waiting until they can release both Canada and Ireland at the same time...

Thanks for remembering Ireland. We've been truly left out of this thread, and we're the ones who've been waiting since OCTOBER, the day we were supposed to have been included with the other EU stores. I just hope the same thing doesn't happen to Canada. The MacRumors server would crash under the weight of all the posts.

Over here, on our little North Atlantic island, we have learned that when things don't happen when they're supposed to, it's best just to accept it, and say very little. And remember, we've had thousands of years of practice.
 
I love how people just randomly put times down with a smiley and people get all excited. It wont be here for at least a week.

I"VE GOT IT!

Apple runs on CLIENT time! Anyone who does web/graphic design is well aware of client time!

It's that crazy time where 2 weeks can mean 2 days and 1 week can mean 3 months!

So iTMS will either be avaible in Canada as of 2 days after Steve Job's first mentioned iTunes OR it'll be avaible by the end of Nov 2012....

You're not doing anything different than them. The fact remains that we don't know when the new iTunes music stores will open, and anything other than that is pure speculation.

whoa... ok....let me explain.....since obviously I need to... what would show them is you spend your $349 on another MP3 player... after all they dont just want you to download the content, they want you to buy their content player.
 
Well it ain't happenin' tonight so I'm off to PureTracks to download some tunes... by the way, I noticed today PureTracks lowered their price to .89 from .99 on alot of the songs.

Hmmmm....

You're absolutely right. I'm going to give away my primary MP3 player, and move to a competitor's product. That'll show 'em.

Umm, anyone know a good musical jukebox program that runs on a Mac? :D

Well... some thoughts from a fellow Cdn...

Either our TOUGH copyright laws ;) (at least we try!) and heavy levies are holding them back...
or really... they thought: What? We have to have a separate store for Canawhat? Isn't that a state of the US? :confused:

I am sure it'll be there...but it doesn't really matter cuz as a fellow US person as well... I can still download my free tracks from iTunes! :)

Went into the Profile area and changed my setting Canada as my country...

MORRISSEY will be my first download!

i am in the bloody Canadian Store!!!
Go to Sign In -> Create new Account -> your not in this country

this then takes you to a drop down list of countries.

Select Canada which will then take you to the canada store!!!!

Wish I could attach an image to prove it to you.
