For those of us with Windows boxes, could I use the new version of iToner to create the ringtone file and then transfer that file over to my PC and sync it up with iTunes from there?
Andrew! What are you guy's waiting for? We're dying out here!
Andrew,
In developing this new solution and analyzing Apple's changes in 1.1.1, did the team consider other potential changes that Apple could come back with in 1.2? This last change obviously caught you and the team by surprise since it seemed like Apple was specifically targeting programs like iToner. I know it's impossible to be certain of anything now, but looking into your crystal ball, how confident is Ambrosia that 1.0.3 will still work with future firmware releases? The cat & mouse game is just too frustrating.

Okay, I'm going to go out on a limb here and state that we hope to release iToner 1.0.3. Please do not burn effigies of me if we don't release it next week.
Honestly, all we're doing now is making sure that we have all of the kinks worked out of it, so that when you download it, you'll have a satisfying user experience.
In the meantime, we released another product recently that you might find rather cool: WireTap Studio![]()
Andrew,
Is it possible you guy's are being TOO careful? I think most of us are tech types and if there's a bug or too we will understand. Maybe you could just release a public beta..or something.....
How about we cut them some slack, eh?![]()
It's looking encouraging. Three quotes from beta testers today:
This time (for the first time since the betas started) every tone played the first time! Nicely done!
-and-
Same here. Thanks!
-and-
Finally had a chance to use this beta for the first time. Smooooooove, no problems at all.
...so things are looking good!

All I am trying to do is keep you updated and abreast of our progress. I apologize if it was misconstrued otherwise. Again, our goal is a release this week.

Andrew,
Clearly I was joking...hence the smiley I used.
I've worked in IT for 25 years. Trust me. I know how software development and QA goes.
Good luck on finalizing the testing.

Ooops... sorry about that. You can never be too careful on forums though, I didn't want anyone to think otherwise!![]()
