Wow - that is brilliant. Next Christmas, I'm going to your house!

So, what did your mother give you (from the snooping thread)? :D

Turns out that snooping would have been no good anyhow (I'm sure there's a lesson there!). She bought me a set of Creature speakers to plug my iPod into since the iPod speaker dock she wanted wasn't in stock. Then it came back into stock so she took them back and I got the iPod Onstage speaker set which is now (well, not since I'm at work) blasting music out in the kitchen while I cook

And it was very nice too, all moist and rich...

<wipes crumbs away from mouth> ;)

<Growls>

And you had to say that as I'm eating a piece of slightly stale bread for breakfast, didn't you? :mad:

Let's just say that Wagamama in Knightsbridge was equally delightful last night. ;)

Stop it! :D

Wagamama and Christmas cake? <Napoleon Dynamite> Lucky! </Napoleon Dynamite>

Glad it was a good night. :)

Mmmmmmmmmm

I have to say I've never been a fan of Christmas cake (don't like all the yucky orange peel bits and glacé cherries etc)...

until now.

OMG Applespider this cake is fabulous! Mmmmm it's crammed full of all the NICE kinds of dried fruit & nuts and you can really taste the Amaretto <drool> Thanks so much for my slice :)

I want a bigger piece next year though!
