Looks really sharp! This iteration of the silver has been one of my favorites.

I got one of the new Gold in the 8. Love the look too; much lighter and almost cream. I love it.

I need to see two of these side by side with one showing the front and one showing the back so I can see how close to white the back is. Looks nice though!

Is that a screen protector that you have applied to the front there? Or is that what was protecting the screen during transit? Those notches would drive me crazy! They are so obvious! When my 8 plus arrived, it had a film that covered the front and back of the phone, so I'm gathering that is something you have applied to the phone?

I'm usually not one for white fronts but there is no denying that that is one beautiful phone. I think the silver is probably the best looking phone this year. Congrats.

I am rather confused though - on your photos and others I have seen it looks white, especially when contrasted with the silver metal around the edge.

It's the same story with the "space grey" - it looks black.

Is it an illusion of the photos or are others seeing this? I'm going to see them in the store this weekend anyway. I rather like the simplicity of a choice of black or white.
