Did you order from the Verizon site like us or Apple?
I ordered through the Verizon store and finished the check out at around 3:10 AM. I am going to call them tomorrow afternoon to see when the ship date is since mine shows the 18th and if it is really that late I will just cancel the order and try my luck waiting in line.

are you sure u didn't read that number wrong? I just finished ordering probably less then 10 mins ago and I'm 21305.
I like others prob will cancel my order if in fact it is that far away. (Only if I can confirm purchasing one locally) My luck will be as soon as I cancel, they will sell out in the local Verizon place. I'm too far from any Best Buy or Apple store.
Also what is the deal with not being able to add a third non iPhone to the family plan? I tried but was unable to change the phone to a non iPhone so I guess I will have to get it added after my two iPhones come in.
Finished my order for 2 phones on the VZW site and got my confirmation email at 2:56am EST. Order number 38xxx and estimated ship date 2/10/11!
From what I remember, those who pre-ordered last week (on the 3rd) also said estimated ship date 2/10/11... And I think most (if not all) of them have their phones by now, so I think its safe to say that we'll be getting our phones before the dates given. Im hoping it ships out in the morning and we can get our phones by Thursday!

my logic is this: the feb. 3rd preorders had a ESD of 2/10..but shipped either on the 3rd or on the 4th
i think that they put an ESD of 2/18 to cover their asses. so basically, they will start shipping first come first served, and you get it when you get it
i'll be honest, i'm hoping that i'm wrong and that we will all get our iphones on thursday as we should since that's overnight. hahah
Agreed. I think Apple & Verizon just wanted to set expectations from the start. Why say it will ship on the 10th only for it to ship on the 17th when you can say it will ship on the 18th and get it out on the 14th? It is wiser to leave yourself a buffer to make you good.

My confirmation number is 2mil+ and my order time was 2:58am. I don't believe it is sequential.
On the email I got from Verizon at 3:10 AM it reads....
Order Number : 1201XXX

You're looking at the wrong number. The number you want is your "Order Number" which should be listed somewhere in the email.
