Does anyone know if you can correct a shipping address after the order was sent? I had issues with my order and it ended up saying it's being sent to a residential address when it is actually a business. I don't want this to mess anything up.

True, plus Apples site has the same date. I think it will be before the 18th, if its not...what can we do...
I doubt it... he specifically said his "Order Confirmation" number. That number is in the millions for everyone. The "Order Number" is what he needs.
I went to the Verizon site again to double check and that is my Order Number not confirmation number.
By confirmation number, you mean the order reference number? Mine is 16 digits long.. I dont see a separate order confirmation number.

My order number is 2.9 mil and change
My order confirmation number much much higher.
Why would I lie about that?
Also, that last post was in regards to his Order Number, not yours. I have no doubt that yours could possibly be in the 1 million range. But he said he ordered well before 3:00AM. Just doesn't sound right if indeed the order numbers are sequential.
I ordered at 3:02AM and my order number is 16072.
the numbers are definitely not sequential as I just ordered a few minutes ago (~5:45am est) and got 12xxx.
I was going to order about an hour ago, but saw the 2/18 ship date and then went to apple to reserve one. I was torn because I didn't want to wait that long but didn't want to make my wife stand in line with 3 kids because I'm out of town this week.
hedging my bets here and placed an order and have one reserved at the apple store. hopefully I see some kind of confirmation of early ship date before Thursday morning so I don't have to send the wife in.

As long as the address validates and if your company gets regular delivery's from FedEx I wouldn't be overly concerned. I had the same issue you probably did, selected business address for shipping but when you hit Next it asks you for a company name when there's no company field. I just selected Residence and put in: Company/CO My Name. Address looks fine on my order confirmation and FedEx guys deliver to us almost daily.
I'm also a little surprised at the 18th ship date. I finished my order at 3:04 so I can only hope Apple and Verizon are under-promising and will over-deliver.
I did the same thing. My office gets Fed Ex deliveries twice a day.
I think that is the universal feeling.
I have no doubt that is the case. I wouldn't be surprised if orders are sent out early to mid next week. I'll be shocked if 99% of us that ordered it at or before 3am didn't have their iPhone's by the 18th.
Take this with a grain of salt, as I am not confirming anything. My brother placed an order for his wife this morning and got the 2/18 ship date. He did not order himself one, he figured he would just pick it up in store tomorrow. He changed his mind and called Verizon today to place his order over the phone. The rep told him that orders placed would be shipping out tomorrow and Friday, depending on when you placed your order.
The reps at Verizon have proven to not really have any kind of confirmation through out this whole iPhone ordeal, but I figured I would just let everyone know.

I went to the Verizon site and saw 2/18 shipping ETA. I then went over to the Apple site and went through the order process. After inputting all the information it took me to a page where I could only select a store to reserve and pick up the iPhone. I couldn't select anything to have it shipped to me. I went back to the Verizon site and just placed the order there.
I'm guessing the online Apple store sold out and was only allowing in-store reservations? This was at 6am PST.
I would rather wait until the 2/18 and have it delivered to my door. A friend waited in line in the sun almost all day for the iPhone 4 on AT&T for the reservation pickups. There is no way I'm going through that.

I agree, but I spoke with a Verizon rep at the internet sales department. She was one of the nicest most respectful persons I've talked to over the phone. She said that all the info they have is that it will ship out on the 18th. I hope they are just being conservative.
they will probably ship before the 18th. However, in the event something were to go wrong, they are probably giving themselves some cushion space.
i really hope it isn't going to be the 18th. VZW has already placed a hold on the funds in my account. Maybe this is a good sign?

Still no updates or shipping confirmations for anyone? Mine shows still in process. I was hoping they would start shipping out today...
Yeah same here. I'm hoping tonight sometime theres a ton of posts about shipped iPhones for people who ordered this morning. It keeps seeming that will be more and more unlikely.
Yeah, Im thinking its likely going to ship out tmrw at the earliest now... Which means it will probably be on the same delivery schedule as those people that preordered last week- shipped out on thursday, delivered on monday... even though they were also supposed to have overnight delivery.
The overnight delivery part is completely the couriers fault. They need to pick them up before 7PM in order to ensure next day. I know FedEx said mine was picked up on 2/5 sometime, although they received electronic billing info on 2/3. >>
if they ship tomorrow we should all have them by friday. the only reason the feb. 3rd preorders didn't get their til monday despite their overnight shipping was because verizon set a limitation that the earliest anyone could receive them would be on the 7th because it was the first shelling out of the phones.
