Thanks for the heads up! I already deleted several apps 🙄 because of the alerts, good I still have some I can’t substitute
It's better to start looking for alternatives. It took me a long time to find replacements for the 32bit apps I was using when Apple decided to stop supporting them.

A HUGE thank you to bogdanw was long overdue. Thank you for all you great help through the years. Your codes for installing iTunes still work on GG beta 2. I have installed 12.6.53 and 12.8.3.1 without any problems and I use both for listening and changing tags. For transfer of playlists or single songs to iPhone I use iMazing (and that works great too). I should mention that I am on a M1 Air and I've always used manual transfer (from the first iPod onwards), never ever syncing anything.
And by the way, i detest the Music app so much that I made a promise to myself to never ever subscribe to Apple music. I don't know how else I can protest, though it sounds silly.
Thanks again.

I join you for two things:

First @bogdanw: you are the best, Apple should pay you a salary for fixing all what they break 😅
Thanks a lot!

Second I made the same promise about never subscribing to Apple Music .
I guess Apple doesn't care that much about losing two incredible customers like us 😜

I couldn’t make any progress with iTunes 11.0.5 installed with the script, but I might have something better for you.

Install iTunes 11.4 using Retroactive 2.1 https://github.com/cormiertyshawn895/Retroactive/releases

From Terminal run:

Code:
sudo codesign --force --sign - /Applications/iTunes.app/Contents/MacOS/iTunes

sudo codesign --force --sign - /Applications/iTunes.app/Contents/MacOS/iTunes.app

sudo codesign --force --sign - /Applications/iTunes.app

iTunes 11.4 should now start and switching to movies doesn’t cause a crash.

Up and running iTunes 11.4 ‼️
Using the above method, also just for the hell of it - I did a Full Sonoma (Intel) Re-Install before attempting.
Huge Fan of the 11.4 Miniplayer Window.....What can i say? 😂

has there been some sort of update on apple's side? I managed to sign in on iTunes 11.4 I can see all my purchases and download them

I might not remember correctly, but I think iTunes 11 was updated through the App Store, so the message to update might just open the App Store.

I still have a working iPod Nano. Was able to make a new Playlist in iTunes and then transfer it to the Nano by dragging the Playlist across the iTunes window and a pane opens up on the right hand side showing the connected Nano. Dropped the playlist on the highlighted Nano and it began syncing.
