With handbrake and my existing DVD collection and sales at walmart and target- I'm not seeing the appeal at paying $10-$15 for a 640x480 movie.

I guess for convenience- am I missing something?

Well, I was almost right about the new Nanos.

One thing though: will Apple offer a protective case standard? Or how about a standalone battery charger for really cheap? (We all can't be connected to the USB port on an active computer all the time, though.)

8 GB is big enough to hold most of my favorite albums on the same player and still have space left for the podcasts I regularly listen to.

Now that they're cutting the packaging volume by 52 percent, apple will never include the charger for free.
