DVD in Pal format is 720x576. A little less in NTSC.

Yes, it is near DVD quality. Awesome for an iPod screen...;)

Wow no phone or video ipod, what a shame, Apple will definitely loose the market for mp3 players now. This sucks
 
For us Brits its just been mentioned on bbc news 24.

They are going to show coverage of the event at 7.30pm (GMT time)

You can do that now for much less widescreen higher rez and not view it on a 2 inch screen. :mad:
