i had a mighty mouse.....but i replaced it for a logitech MX510 mouse. more buttons, not as nice to look at maybe, but it definitely feels a lot better to use. my mightyl mouse now resides in the drawer.......shame i cant run it over, i dont have my car t hand

At least the nano still works after you run over it with a car. That's Apple for you...putting all of the R&D money into the iPod line while the Mac and Mac peripheral lines get put out to pasture. It's a sad day for Apple.

No, the pressure just blew the top off. Actually a car doesn't exert too much pressure...I've run over cell phones before with no breakage...but this popped apart - didn't really shatter.

I agree you should take that to the genius bar and tell them its not working, just to see (and hidden video) their reaction. Punk'd, Apple style.

So everything worked except the scroll ball and side buttons...? Seems like it would have made a nice secondary or spare mouse...or good for a mod! You could have gotten one of those old old Apple mice and used the insides of this one to make it into an optical mouse.
But, I'm sure killing it was funny too. You should have brought it into the genius bar all broken apart.

Well I have two Apple wireless mice, a black pro mouse and a regular usb one, so I had enough spares. I really like the thing, but I just said eff it and destroyed it. I haven't bought a flawless apple product in a year.

iGary thats just so funny but i would have felt a little better if it was in about a million little pieces. Then you could sweep them up and send them in a small envelope to the idiots in charge of Mice at Apple.
