Me too, but mine are CNN alerts via Apple News.

I had to turn off notifications for the News app...

Beyond ridiculous.

Same thing for me, seems to be blowing up on Twitter too.... I had to shut off my news notifications.

Same here. CNN article via Apple News. Cannot get it to stop. Restarted both my watch and my iPhone 7+. Still doing it...😡😕

It's the apple News app that is spamming, not the CNN app. To get it to stop you need to disable notifications for the "News" app.

Somebody REALLY screwed up. This will be a P.R. disaster for both Apple and CNN.
