Jailbrake (A5) not out for Windows?

At least we know now it's there. Instead of a million users wondering if it would even come out at all
 
I'm in a way happy that Mac users get to be the genuine pigs for any bugs in the jailbreak :)

I already went to the Apple store today to try that... Doesn't work since you can't download anything on their display computers, hell, you can't even go to the greenpois0n website.

Oh well it was worth a try, it would have been funny. You could have been like thanks for helping jailbreak my phone as you walk out. All the apple employees would have dropped over dead with a heart attack!!!
 
Updated my iPad from 4.3.3 jailbroken to 5.0.1 in anticipation of the windows jailbreak (thought "soon" meant an hour or 2... :rolleyes:).

In the same boat as the rest of you windows users but I'm quite enjoying the notification centre and split keyboard. Safari's new tab format is also quite handy.

It's good to use your iDevice the way Apple intended but it also gives one perspective on the extra functionality and value a jailbreak brings to the device. ;)
 
I couldnt wait any longer, just did it in vmware and it was a breeze, can't believe I hadnt thought of that all day, instead I've been trying to figure out why my hackintosh wouldnt work (10.5 wouldnt let it load).

Is this simple to do? How long would you say it takes? I want mine jail broken!

yes, with VM is a piece of cake if you know what you doing. My Snow Leopard VM was buried in 1 TB of files... took me 25 min to find it and 5 to JB. LOL Ill do my Ipad after a few hours of sleep.

Err, if you don't know what Snow Leopard is you probably shouldn't even consider setting up a VM. Not trying to be a dick in the least - just an honest opinion.

just follow this link. took me longer to dl all the stuff than it did to actually instal and jb, but i just got a nice new pc.

you need to cd to the exact directory where cinject is located.
ie cd c:\users\yourname\downloads\cinject_0.4.3
