256 jet black 7+, Australia. Delivery 30/9-5/10 - unchanged, ordered as soon as I could get through on Apple website.

In the main post they said "MacRumors reader Daniel was told to expect his Jet Black iPhone 7 Plus in November, but will be receiving it tomorrow, while another customer had a delivery scheduled for October 4 to 10, but will instead receive his iPhone on Wednesday"

So why weren't those of us who were already getting earlier shipment dates bumped up first?
Idk that's weird, unless it's certain carriers

Not true. My son is getting his from Verizon tomorrow. Was supposed to ship on the 23rd.
23rd of what and what phone did he get

Mine was originally estimated as Oct. 4-10, but has now moved into "Preparing for Shipment" mode. I don't have a shipping notification yet, but the fact that others are gives me encouragement that I may have mine a lot sooner than I expected.

St. Louis here.
Jet Black 7 Plus 128GB
Order Time: 2:11 CT on 9/9/16
Expected Shipping Date: Oct 14-21
Everyone but me is getting moved up to earlier shipping/delivery dates? Dang.

I wonder if this will happen with Watches too. Fingers crossed.

Yes!!!

ALL delivery times for ALL new products seem to be ramping up faster than anticipated.

I am in the boat that got moved up. I ordered at 3:12AM on the 9th - due to an 11 minute East Coast delay in getting to the Apple Store app to launch - and was bummed to get a delivery window of Oct 4 - Oct 10 for my JB 256GB 7+ ATT. I then ordered my wife's Silver 256GB 7 ATT and it was delivered on the 16th. My delivery window then moved UP a bit to Sep 29 - Oct 1 for like 2 days and then BACK to a later window of Oct 6 - Oct 12; I had no idea what was going on and no idea when the phone would ship or be delivered.

A few days ago it changed to "preparing to ship" and sat in that status until today. Then today I get a UPS notification saying I have a delivery coming on 9/21 lol. I checked my Apple order page and it said the 7+ would be delivered by the 23rd but UPS says the 21st lol. How this happened I have no idea.

Also, both the new Apple Watches I ordered for my wife and I had an initial delivery window the 1st week of Oct but also have somehow "shipped" and they will be here tomorrow, 9/20.

Thanks Apple.

On a side note, I have been checking the reservation availability locally and they have started showing up in stock and available for reservation for both the 7 and the 7+ in all colors except JB. I could have gotten a 7+ in black Sat night if I wanted to. The only thing concerning me was I already had the contract established with Citizens and didn't want to cause any delays or issues as a result of that.

Hopefully everyone gets their phones sooner than later; just be patient.

No rush to receive mine. Just ordered one this morning.

My 6s is working fine and my S7 edge is also working very well.

if i remember correctly, this was the case too in past - always said "Preparing for Shipment" and delayed estimates.. and one week later magically it arrived and yet AT&T website said "Preparing for Shipment"... so i do not trust what the intermediate status is.. i think we should get it within 3 weeks .. (mine is Nov28-Dec5)

original delivery date: sept 30-oct 6
Moved to "preparing for shipment" this Friday, Sept 17
No update since.

Whilst it is great that we are seeing delivery dates getting pulled forward there seems to be no logic to it. How can November deliveries get bumped to this week when plenty of Sept & Oct orders are stuck at processing?

The explanation for this is iUP, all iUP customers get priority.

It boils down to carrier and location if he's in a location that has supply being routed that way with his carrier configuration then he gets his first I assume this to be true cannot state as a fact though

That would explain it but maybe they need to call it the VIP iUP in future. Seems wrong to give preferential treatment to people in the programme. Doesn't mean they are more loyal customers which seems to be their thinking here.

I still waiting.... till the "sim free" version comes out! Maybe in early October like last year or early December like the 6! Hard to say? I usually buy it in mid-October or mid-January but I am antsy to buy the + gloss black now! If Apple makes me wait till December; may just wait a little more till 2017 to buy! It only another 9 months if they do it in December since I buy it in mid-January

Is it worth being bothered, losing sleep? You're getting one. Be happy. And there's still a chance your delivery date may be adjusted.

What makes you think that? Did it look "unreal"? It sure did! Looked amazing!
Because all iPhone images on Apple.com are CGI, did you knew that? Just go and zoom

I ordered today the 32GB matte black iphone 7 plus through att and it says preparing for shipment but its estimated arrival is october 17-24... you guys think it could arrive earlier than the estimated date?
