Jet Black iPhone 7 Plus Pre-Orders Shipping Sooner Than Expected

Will I get charged now and or just when the phone ships?

About 5-6 before it ships, is what I've been told
 
I just ordered mines off T-Mobile site. Wish there was a way to push my order towards the front a little since I didn't get a chance to pre-order it. I spoke to a rep and she might be able to do something about it. Don't really want to wait until November.

I was able to push my order a little in front with T-Mobile and now have an october ship dat, instead of Nov 15 like before.
 
What is strange is that Apple seems to be shipping phones in an order that makes no sense. I was quoted a delivery of 9/26-10/3 and mine is scheduled for delivery on 9/21 with a small chance of it even showing up 9/20. Some people that were quoted early October days have had theirs delivered already and other who were quoted mid September days still haven't shipped. I hope everyone gets their phones ASAP and I truly hope Apple learns from this launch because it seems to be one of, if not the sloppiest launch to date.

So do I. Next year will make this year look like a cake walk. Enjoy your phone for yourself and those still waiting.
 
I have my order placed at 12:05 AM on preorder night, and had a delivery date of September 26 - October 3rd.

I got my tracking number yesterday and it said It would be here on Wednesday. Now looking at the tracking, I got a rescheduled delivery notice after sitting in the warehouse in Zhengzhou for nearly 2 days... i'm going to be pissed if it's delayed for getting my hopes up.

Did anybody else get a delivery reschedule notice?

I ordered at 5:04 (Sydney time) on the 9th. Was given delivery window of the 21st-28th of September. I'm stuck at order processing.

I am beginning to think the the shipping notices are going out and labels are being created for UPS but with shipping days two days away. Such as in my case the first shipping activity I had was on 9/17 but the phone never moved until 9/19. I have seen numerous cases where after receiving the shipping confirmation and being tracked there is no movement for 24-48 hours or more.

This has been brilliantly managed by Apple.

Have the ordering system state long delays, get just enough press coverage to let even more people know you have a new phone out. Then 1 week later orders magically start shipping?

People don't seriously think they've gone from not being able fulfill orders until november to shipping in a week do you?

Probably reallocating what is being made to other markets or other outlets. My update here in Australia is still looking to be November according to Telstra today. If they get more phones than they expect then hopefully those dates will come forward, but I'm not holding my breath

Got a Telstra email saying no set date other than the original estimate of delivery by 11th of November
 
My ship date has been 9/23 since first 15 minutes of preorder and my iPhone is still in "process" with no cc charge :(
 
Just got my shipment notification. Att 128 jb 7+. Ordered at 2:18 central on 9/9 (13 mins after site came up), had delivery estimates of 18th-31st of October, changed to PFS on the 18th, card charged, got email confirming shipment at 3am on the 20th, delivery on Monday the 26th of sept.

Been at preparing to ship since later that day.

Originally given 9-30 to 10-7 shipping window.

Still waiting. And waiting.....and...waiting. :(

There are examples at my local Telstra store. Not sure I like the home button as I could not feel the tap at all most of the time

Hmm I might look for one tomorrow.

I am guessing it's exactly like the oneplus 3? I disliked the home button

That sucks. :-/ I feel like mine shouldn't have been bumped so far ahead when people have delivery dates much sooner like yours.

Congrats for getting your phone earlier. But I cannot understand the process that apple has applied to the rollout this year.

Me either. I feel kind of bad and guilty. No way I should be getting it over people who had earlier ship dates.

Yes very similar. It might be different when I get it for a while, but I liked the feel of the pressing of the button. Maybe the taptic engine should tap on the back of the button section of the screen. I can see the home button being incorporated into the screen in the next iPhone iteration and relying on the taptic engine to give feedback, but it's not the same
