The notion "the investors have to get paid some mark up" ...
Good for you, mate. It's nice to get a rough idea of how much melanin everybody's skin has. Would any other posters like to share such relevant information? (I'm human btw)
Exactly.
People can hate hip hop and it's culture or the quality of Beats all they want, but we have to give due respect and credit Dr. Dre and Iodine's brilliant marketing and using their position to elevate Beats into it's current status.
I will say this again. What is obvious so far if this deal is true ...
Apple will definitely steal a big percentage of that market. Dr. Dre and Iodine endorsements and influence will definitely bring additional billions $ to Apple for the long term. It will be also be new arena(s) for Apple engineering to explore. And there maybe some other big surprises too. And what if Google, Facebook or Samsung beats Apple to this?
Why the supposed gurus and analysts cannot get this? Smh
Trap music is Electronic 808 beats with Hip Hop roots. So what were you saying about me not knowing about TRAP music
I get it...he's black so he must kill people. Yep, not racist.
Fine all of those you listed are Pop music anything that is not pop? If you read carefully I also said Pop artist not just Hip Hop but both Dr. Dre and Jimmy Iovine have worked with hip hop artist.
Well, according to the lyrics websites, he released detox in 2014, in which the song "topless" sings about girls with their boobs hanging out and he is the shooting kind.
The song Under Pressure speaks about getting high, he's a weedhead, and he's living his mother***** life.
The song Mr. Perscription talks about him getting high again and having sex with women.
So, I'm sorry but I just don't think that this guy has grown up at all. It's not someone I would want to represent my company.

That certainly is true. I certainly wish they wouldn't sell this kind of music on itunes.
I think it's a little different now, though, since Dr. Dre is going to be representing apple publicly.
