Jesus. I am so tired of the Political Correctness epidemic in the U.S. People can be offended if they want. Who cares, really?

Is this what people are taught, now, "Sticks and stones may break my bones but words hurt more than that?"

Worth a watch. This video reminds me of stupidity on this level.

I looked for the right music when I was heartbroken. I wish someone created a playlist for me just for that time. What's the problem here? You know?

Amazing what people get upset about. Imagine how nice the world would be if they put that effort into doing something worthwhile.

This is a good example of how society is becoming way too sensitive.

The ad was about women, so he framed his response that way. If he did an ad about men, he probably would have said the same exact thing and no one would mind.

If this seriously bothers you, you probably have a guilty conscience and you feel raw about the fact that he was able to hit the nail on the head about something you keep to yourself.

This is what marketing geniuses do for a living.

Political correctness run a mock. South Park is nailing it with its latest episodes featuring PC principle. It's getting out of control. I don't know anything about Jimmy Irvine. He may be a real douche in real life. But how the f is what he said offensive? Even before he explained what he meant, I knew what he meant. This ad was about music discovery. So it featured women. So what. Are we really that sensitive as a society?

What has happening to the once proud USA? You are turning into a bunch of brainwashed wusses constantly feigning faux outrage. At the same time your government has helped created ISIS (see Judicial Watch, Pentagon rapport from 2012), drone-bombing innocent people in various countries around the world, having corrupt big industry buying politicians, avoid taxes and ripping off the middle class etc..etc. What is wrong with you people?
I have no idea. We're too busy getting up in each other's faces over foot-in-mouth faux pas than figuring out why our government doesn't work any more. I personally blame Justin Beiber.

I know the entire problem. He works for Apple and is in the public but does not have a well honed and rehersed story line.
That should say 'politically correct storyline'. In other words, he has not acquiesced enough of his freedom to be an Apple employee yet.

Amazing 10 pages on this.
I guess nobody has ever heard the crap that spews out of the mouths of those people on the View.

They can say the most vile things and get away with it if it's directed at women who don't think the "correct" way.

I am surprised one is even allowed to talk at a politically correct prison like Apple. Remember when people could say things that maybe could have been said better or maybe shouldn't have been said and all and nobody cared? Grow up America.

Once again the untrained bloggers get it wrong and take someones words out of context. The discussion revolved around women and womens issues - it was about Mary J. Blige, Kerry Washington and Taraji P. Henson's involvement in a new Apple ad focused on women. Bloggers, you all need to go to journalism school and learn how to report. Lately the NY Times and Wall St. Journal's "reporters" need to do the same!!!!

Yes, in many instances, PC has gone way too far in the US. Conversely, many who label just about everything as PC do so because they just want to be ass holes to others.

I don't see the problem. Being an ass hole is just as legal as being a kind generous person. It's part of being a free society. People just need to stop being snowflakes and not expect the world to conform to their little echo chamber of safety space.
