Never used it, and probably never will.

I just want a Music App which is simple and easy to use.
Agreed, and that's why I have Spotify. Face it Apple, you are losing this game badly. Fewer and fewer people want to use you for all of their media consumption. Please try sticking to making great hardware and OS's to drive them!

I feel like video content is a mess. Networks had a chance to come together and create a unifying experience.

Right now, if you're paying for content, not stealing it, you're probably getting it from all different sources and websites and apps. And even some of those feel like the old channel surfing style (looking at you, sling).

I'm sorry I personally despise Streaming music services, I rather own my material than just get a taste of it. Personally i still prefer iOS 7/8 iTunes. Now I'm having problems with cover art that has OG art work then is labelled with someone else album cover. I really just don't like where apples heading and I REFUSE to buy MASTERED FOR SMALL SPEAKERS garbage that iTunes offer for music quality. I've bought physicals of albums I owned on iTunes. Boy let me tell you the difference is clear as night as day. Just stop making iTunes and Music App cumbersome and annoying to use. Before it did not take long for me to find what I want to listen too and now it takes forever. I want my browser view of ARTIST,SONGs, ALBUM view like in iTunes 7. Last thing that grinds my gears double screens of Store bought music and Downloaded bought music. I don't know who thought this was an excellent idea needs to scrap the whole different screens for different fronts. END OF RANT

If Apple starts including movies and other original content with your Apple Music membership for the same price or as an add-on why is this a bad thing? People are so damn negative on here.
It depends on how they handle the user interface and the billing. Additional content is always welcome. Additional complexity for the end user to sort through is not.

Google Play can be a real hot mess shoving me into You Tube when I'm trying to find just a song and not the music video. I find Apple a bit neater and tidier about that sort of thing and I hope they stay that way no matter what they end up adding to their streaming services.

Oh it is a mess. My husband is a bit stubborn and still likes to stream shows when he can. We are definitely paying for way too many services to get bits and pieces of things he and the kids like. Now that my preteen has outgrown the cartoon shows we used to watch together, I can say if I were living alone, there would not be a tv in my house at all. I would love to sit down with my husband and trim some of our services off our bill, but it's not going to happen, unfortunately.

I would be content to watch a few shows here and there on one of my smart phones or iPads, and 99% of it would be the older shows like Seinfeld and Friends that I didn't have time to follow when they were airing and I was working or rugrat wrangling. Oh and Downtown Abbey sounds intriguing.

I just don't really have the attention span for viewing stories. Reading is fine, but my attention wanders badly when I'm watching shows. Even in VR, for crying out loud. I had some creepy clown guy from Cirque du Soleil up in my face in Oculus and I zoned out wondering what my cat was doing because I could hear her but of course couldn't see her with a my head stuck in virtual reality. Only I could zone out while a creepy clown appears inches away from my face.

After a report by The Wall Street Journal stated that Apple is planning a push into original television series production for 2017, Apple Music executive Jimmy Iovine spoke to reporters over the weekend and explained why the company is looking to add TV to its streaming music service (via The Hollywood Reporter).

Iovine said that the company's main concern is enticing users into choosing Apple Music over competitors like Spotify and Pandora, which offer free, ad-supported tiers for users. Ultimately, Iovine and other Apple Music executives believed that another basic streaming music service with on-demand access to music at $10 a month would not be enough to keep it alive. He called the move into TV Apple's attempt to build "an entire pop cultural experience."

I own an Anime shop. Japanese animation is huge. When will there be a catagory to to buy J-pop on iTunes? I mean t5he real thing not just remixes?

The Hollywood Reporter suggests that the Dr. Dre-starring Vital Signs could be among the first of Apple's scripted television series to launch this year, with six episodes rolling out all at once, following the Netflix strategy. Despite all of the information known about Vital Signs since its announcement nearly a year ago last February, it's still unclear whether or not users will be able to stream the new Apple Music TV shows on an Apple TV, or just on iOS.

Besides Vital Signs, Apple is said to be working on a reality competition series called Planet of the Apps as well as an updated version of Carpool Karaoke. For its new push into television, the company plans to create original shows comparable to HBO's Westworld and Netflix's Stranger Things.
