Great, my new 13" BTO MBA arrived today and my Black/Green Joli sleeve arrived earlier this week - what a great-looking combination!

Slightly silly question - is there a right/wrong way to put the MBA in the sleeve e.g. does one end of the sleeve of more capacity than the other (though doesn't look like it) to accommodate the wedge shape of the MBA or does it make no difference? I assuming the latter, but though I should check in case I over-stretch the sleeve by mistake...

With my MBA the fans are never on when I close it so it's no problem at all. have been using the sleeve for a long time and have no problems with either the sleeve or the MBA :)

For me the vertical opening is also better, I carry it in a backpack or a vertical shoulder bag (crumpler friday nylon), so with a vertical sleeve it's easier to grab it.

it doesn't matter which one you use first, but you should keep using the same orientation after that since one side will stretch, if you use both it'll stretch both and might be too loose afterwards.

IMO the ones made by PicasoLab seems much better since they have the opening on the long-side and not the short-side: http://www.etsy.com/shop/PicasoLab?ref=fp_recently_viewed_0

I still haven't decided though because I think the Joli looks really nice. If only they did the opening on the long-side it would've made things much easier.
I almost got the Picasolab one because of the long-side opening. But I liked the Joli's bright colors so much I got that instead. If you get the Picasolab one post a review, I haven't seen many (or any) reviews of that one.

Yes, I see what you mean, thanks. I think I'll use the "Joli" logo in the opposite corner to orientate myself.

I'll bite

After reading so many convincing reviews on just this forum. I've been moved to postpone my Nexus 7 purchase for a Black/Aqua 13" Air sleeve. No need for a bulky case so 100% in favor of this elegant sleeve when not in use.

The only issue I can see with the sleeve is that when carried vertically (e.g. in my cycle pannier), the bottom corners of the Joli sleeve get bent up and I can see this possibly causing wear over time. The other thing is that the sleeve is so nice that I think that when carrying it in a bag with other items, I'm temped to put it inside a plastic bag to help prevent it getting marked, though realise that's a bit OCD...

My BTO MBA took just over a week to arrive, I think.

yeah i think ill get it on friday next week.... i hope i will anyways, means i get the weekend to play with it!!

Also just had an email from joli saying my sleeve is being shipped via UPS...

Chances of it arriving at some point tomorrow...??

EDIT: AHH it got to the UK this morning and has been sitting about 50miles from my house all day :(
