Yeah. I’ll just leave it at that.

I think those look pretty close? i mean the basic idea of multicolor imacs, flat thin profiles etc. all came from him... and he was right. i'm not a big fan of his... his tone is annoying and he has famously blown some calls like the dates on keynotes etc. but i think where there is smoke there is fire on this one and perhaps general ideas like the hole punch camera and flatter back are real.

Doubt it, these screens, 120hz, and punch hole design have been around for a while now, we didn’t see a price hike with the re design iPhone 12 series.

Most of the tech in these upcoming phones have been around for a while now.

Not expecting a price increase.
I generally agree. Apple tends to plan out their updates and releases so they are working with technologies that are mature and have generally come down in cost from when they were first released. If there is no change in price for the iPhone 13 Pro models, which will bring ProMotion to the devices, then I doubt we will see a price hike beyond $50 to $100.

There will absolutely be a price increase next year. There are too many price increases that manufacturers are dealing with for there not to be, not to mention inflation. All that remains is to figure out how much it will be. So far millennials haven’t been phased by rampant inflation, they’re spending just as much as they were before, so it doesn’t look good.

Keep in mind Samsung has been selling their top flagships at a premium compared to Apple so there is definitely room for Apple to increase prices without losing too many customers.
If that’s the case, hopefully it’s not a massive increase, I’ll be happy with a $20 increase. 🤦‍♂️😂

I’m done with price increases. Ready to go the other way and switch to midrangers or start trying to keep my phones for 3+ years. I can’t justify spending $700+ each year (after trade in) anymore.

We have a iPhone max budget model arriving next year, should take the sting out of the rumored price increase.

Just like the cameras after the iPhone 4, the lenses continue to grow with every new model. It won't take long on a flat backed iPhone 14 for there to once again be a camera bump bulging out of the iPhone 16 and later as the camera lenses continue to grow.
Enjoy the flatness while it it exists cuz it won't be around for long

If this is actually what it looks like and the cameras even better... yeah I'll upgrade from my SE2 to this no problem. 4 did have the best feeling phone for sure, and I think looked the best though I prefer the bigger sizes.

Yeah, for a mock up that's surprisingly close. Remember he's still above i believe 70% accurate. He's got a whole thing of being annoying, and it rubs apple fans and podcasters the wrong way because it's not "elegant". And I get it. I love the elegance stuff of apple too, but it's funny to have him always breaking ****. Like, he keeps the whole community maybe a degree humbler, and that's a good thing.

ipunch hole , like Androids have had for years. I think I’d prefer that if that’s the best they can come up with. More usable menu bar space again. Might even get the battery % back.

Flat back .. probably thicker phone. 12 Pro Max already too heavy though but the titanium might help. I once had a titanium watch and it was so light.
The reason Apple has not gone with punch hole before is that they needed to get FaceID working properly under the screen. Those Android phones with punch hole cameras didn't have that concern.

I don't like these types of leaks. I currently have a google pixel 2 xl which I have had it since launch and I have been waiting to upgrade but when the 12 came out people said it's not a big upgrade wait for the 13 now that I have waited its all the same again wait for the 14 then 15 and so on and so on. I'm sorry but we don't even know most things about the 13 but what the 14 will look like 100%? remember when people said the 12 was going to have 120hz which it didnt

It's another year out so anything can change between now and then.

You put enough guesses out there and eventually some would be correct.

I honestly can't stand Prosser and Macrumors and 9to5mac etc continue to give him attention by putting his "leaks" on the front page.

I just want to preorder my iPhone 13PM now! I'll worry about the 14 when 2022 Sep comes around.

Can we stop with the Prosser leaks, he just throws every rumor at the wall and hopes something sticks.

Like Babe Ruth. Everyone talks about how he pointed to a spot on the outfield fence, then hit a home run to that spot. No one remembers all the times he tried that trick and failed.

Damnit! I finally got my iPhone to not wobble by adding a kickstand, now without the camera bump it's going to wobble again.

I'm going to take every rumor posted by that very punchable face with a massive grain of salt.

So, to organize my thoughts:

  • The camera array looks super weird without the "bump" or surround - but maybe that's just because we're used to it. Doesn't Apple currently "bump" the cameras out because of the tech behind it (sensors, lenses, stabilizers, etc.)? I don't suspect any of that would go away any time soon.
  • Does it make sense to thin the phone, too, having added (supposedly) more features, when historically the iPhones of late have been getting thicker to account for larger batteries? Without much news of battery tech changing drastically and pushing out to consumer tech, it doesn't seem likely we'll see a significantly thinner phone soon.
  • And would the microSIM not be fully eSIM-ified next year? Feels like we're moving towards that.
  • Last item, why change the shape of the volume buttons to be (subjectively) harder to press (smaller), just to throw back to the iPhone 4? I don't see that one coming to fruition, sorry.
SO many questions.

"Exclusive photos" = renders
This is why I hate these types of rumors for my self I am currently using a Pixel 2 xl from early 2017 and I have been wanting to get back to apple but when I thought about getting an iPhone 11 pro max people said to wait for the 12 it will have 120hz when the 12 came out people said to wait for the 13 12 isn't worth it now the 13 wait for the 14 13 isn't worth it. No **** things are going to get better in a year or they won't release a new one

A titanium frame to make it lighter.

Give it a powerful light and the ability to turn-on the light in the camera app.

It looks like I will upgrade my iPhone 12 Pro Max to iPhone 13 Pro Max, then iPhone 14 Pro Max next year.
