Karr sat in business class and dined on paté and prawns, and drank champagne, a beer, and French chardonnay... an Associated Press reporter on board the flight reported.
Um... WTF? Why is this guy being treated like a white-collar criminal?

I think the mom did it.

Yeah, isn't it nice how tax-payers money is being used to feed this douchebag 4 course meals in leather seats that recline?

If anything the piece of **** should be locked in a cage, and poked with a stick the entire time he flies back with nothing but rice and water. Then again, child molesters deserve worse than that. Slow painful death...

But, getting back, he didn't do it. The mother was involved, no doubt about it.

That article I put in earlier brings up really interesting points if you haven't read it:

*The blow to her head was a laceration, which would be caused by hitting your head on something (e.g. bathtub) rather than being hit with a blunt object (which would crush your skull like an eggshell). Though, at the same time, there wasn't much or any blood associated with the head wound.
*Patsy is the only one of the suspect who changed their style of writing after the death.
*Patsy's fingerprints were on the bowl of pineapple (JonBenet had bits of pineapple in her system).
*Patsy's fingerprints were the only ones on the pad that the ransom note paper came from.

The article basically states that Patsy killed JonBenet accidently, then covered up the accidental killing to look like a kidnapping attempt/homicide.

I still doont understand what the Mothers MOTIVE would be. Why just kill one child. I mean look back at the Andrea Yates case she killed all 5 of her children. Or the woman who killed her three boys on mothersday. Why just kill one child. She had two. It would make more sense if both of them had been found dead. But thank god it didnt happen that way.

And as for John Mark Karr I dont believe it. there aree to many holes in his confession. This guy is just tired of being turned down.

It is a (very good) theory that the mother was in a rage about a bed wetting accident and was already pissed that jonbenet was refusing to wear the same outfit as her to a christmas day party. Many experts say toilet matters are very often a trigger for rage.

JonBenet was in the bathroom and the mother ripped the overnight pull-up off the girl (leaving a mark in the vaginal area consistant with that action) and when the girl fell back she hit her head on the bathtub. This is consistant with JonBenet's injuries. The mother believes that the unconscious girl is already dead and has to make a decision - call police or cover up. She decides to make it look like an intruder did it.

She brings the girl to the basement, bounds her, writes a ransom note, calls 911. All consistent with evidence.

But you said the mother "believes" the girl is dead. If she was to take the girl to the basement and tie her up and Jonbenet was to wake up then there would be no problem.

wow thats an interesting theory. we will never know the true answer probably

I'm really at a lost on who did it, but I think the entire case and many more in America is becoming a trend in America, which is eating away at our country, Guilty until proven innocent. I think it's a ashame that the mother had to deal with the thing she had to deal with when she was alive, especially if this is the righ person. I also think that he deserves the right to be innocent until proven guilty.

I say this because I look at the Duke lacross rape case, and those guys have been villiafied, and yet they havn't had their day in court. Save judgement untill ALL the facts are collected.

No, JonBenet was unconscious and would have ultimately died from the injury. If the injury was not life threatening and JonBenet woke up - the mother may have done what other abusive parents do, just say it was an accident = a fall down the stairs etc. and we probably would never have heard about it.

I highly suggest everyone here go rent Natural Born Killers if you haven't already seen it.

Take a look at that, and then go back to CNN and watch the coverage of this guy.

Yes, I read it this morning. I think it put forward a pretty strong argument, which I agree with. Thanks for sharing it. :)

I am still reading the story about her mom killing her and trying to cover it up but it might take me awhile since today was the first day of school. [sophmore].

But I am starting to believe her mom had a little something to do with it, who knows though by the time im done reading I hope they solve the damn thing. For the dads sake.

But another question. Think the Dad knows something about it hes not telling anybody??

Why

um.. Can I ask what this thread is even doing on a Macrumors.com forum? I mean, I'm not heartless. I feel for the victims and the case interests me. But not when I'm reading up on Merom and ZFS.

Was this child porn found on a Powerbook? Come on..

You're obviously new here...we talk about a lot more than just Macs here. If you all you want is Mac info, stay in the Mac-centric forums.

That's what's so special about MacRumors...it's a whole community drawn together by our interest in Macs, but it's become a heck of a lot more than that.
