Apple's built-in market for the watch: Those who own a laptop, iPad, iPod and iphone. Anyone who's camped out on any launch day. Google Glass owners. Those pursuing a finishing touch for their tattoo sleeve. And anyone who suddenly feels the need to keep track of things that they tracked when Steve Austin was all wired up in The Six Million Dollar Man.

Granted it's on the premium product, but including Leather doesn't really help to make it environmentally friendly.

I actually think the leather is perhaps the least environmentally 'unfriendly' aspect of this device. Meh, that hasn't been a limiting factor for me in the past...*sigh*. :(

He can design the Watch... But certainly not the interface of OS X... Yosemite is ****...!

LOL. This is a thing? Fine. Bring back the Platinum UI from Mac OS 8/9! Viva la Revolution!

Seriously? We've all known the starting price since day one. You aren't going to try and argue they weren't referring to the Sport are you? It's clearly the inferior watch of the 3 models and will be the lowest priced.

You said -- "Apple has already said officially that the Sport will start at $349. The stainless version will clearly be substantially more. In 3 days we will know how much more."

I am asking for where Apple officially said that? They didn't. 2.5 hours now.

It clearly didn't need to be said. It should have been obvious to everybody that they were referring to the sport.

I think Jony does a fantastic job. He's done great hardware design for a long time and I, unlike some others, don't really mind what hes done with iOS or OSX.

Listening to him talk though is a nightmare. No other way about it... He just comes off as pretentious.

One of the things that struck me,” says Ive, “was how often I’d look at my watch and have to look again quite soon afterwards, because I hadn’t actually comprehended what the time was. If I had looked at something on my phone, because of the investment involved in taking it out of my pocket or my bag, I would certainly pay attention. I quite like this sense of almost being careless and just glancing. I think for certain things the wrist is the perfect place for this technology.”

Does any one else find it odd that he couldn't comprehend what time it was when looked at his watch?

I think they need to make a Dick Tracy watch where you can make calls. I think I'll stick with my Tag lol
