Jony Ive rocking the gold

Pretty sure Jony owns some ridiculous custom watches, from Swiss makers, too.

He was talking about it before the Apple Watch came out. And they're much more expensive than the Edition.

He most definitely likes gold. He rocks gold iPhones and was also photographed wearing the rose gold with white sport band.

Edit: Sorry, misread and thought you were talking about Jony Ive. Yes, I'm sure Cook has his reason for wearing the SS with white sport band. He even has a custom version with the red-capped crown.

Anyone else miss the days when public photos of the legendary Jony Ive were nonexistent, like spotting a unicorn?

To my eye (as one who also blows up in times of heavy workload and/or stress), Jony looks like he needs a rest. And Atkins.

I'm sure this photo was heavily photoshopped, and these live shots of him talking are not, so they are inherently going to more "real." Still, if he put weight on, how is that any of our business? We have no idea if he has a bad knee, or he stress eats, or if he's on prednisone for allergies or an auto-immune disease... it would be nice if people would suspend judgment of others when they have literally no information.
 
If I helped design this, I would have a SS version and Gold version for fancier occasions. Ain't nothing wrong with that.
 
Thats probably one of his cheapest watches. Jony probably has a nice collection of Patek's, Audemar Piguet's and others worth millions of dollars. A Patek can go anywhere into the millions, and I'm sure he was gifted that watch along with all of the other execs.
