In your opinion, how difficult do you think it will be to keep the white plastic around the ports/speaker clean?

This case really did get great reviews over at Amazon. I like the fact that their format for the SmartSuit has been around for quite some time, with the iPad 2, and there is almost uniformly positive feedback. I've been bitten too many times as an "early adopter", and would far rather go with "tried and true" this time round.
Now, if only I can decide on color........wondering just how glitzy the silver/bronze are. If the color is more "antiqued", either could be quite cool.:rolleyes:
 
Just purchased the black SmartSuit 3 with the -15% discount code. I'll review it soon (+photos & video) ;)

Look on Amazon, there are quite a few rave reviews for the SmartSuit 2. If you decide to order, don't forget the discount code; it still worked for my order which I placed just yesterday.(ordered it from the JF website, as there is no discount on Amazon.)
 
I tried to order a smartsuite3 a couple times today. Kept getting this error message:

An unexpected error occurred. Please go back and try again.

You do not have permission to perform this operation.

I sent them an email. Who knows... Maybe it wasn't in the cards.

Had that issue, try it with a different browser. I tried to use chrome and got that error. Tried with internet explorer (crap I know) but it worked. Now im curious if they accounted for the magnets issue with apple changing the location of them in the Smartsuit 3. I posted a question on their wall but have yet to get a response.

I totally agree, ordered the black Joy Factory SmartSuit 3 yesterday, was even able to use that discount code posted days ago.:)
 
The front cover of the SmartSuit2 couldn't be folded completely flat against the back. Does anyone know if this problem is fixed?

If you read more of the reviews on Amazon, you will see that the majority could fold the front cover all the way back. This might just be the case of earlier v. later revisions. That is why I think it is probably advisable to order from JF directly.

Edit: i just checked their Facebook page, and saw this:

I live less than 30 minutes away. I am wondering if I call them on Monday, they would allow me to go down there directly? I ordered the black case to be safe, but would love to see the other 2 colors up close.

I would like to order the case at JF, but I live in the Netherlands.
So the shippingcosts are $42.
Does anyone know a place where I can order the case in Europe or UK?

I did not see the SmartSuit 3 in a clear version, only the SmartFit, which covers the rear of the iPad, but works in conjunction with the Apple Smart Cover. The one I ordered (SmartSuit 3),has the rear shell and a front cover:

If you like, when I call them tomorrow, I will ask if they have a reseller in Europe.
 
I have one and it would be the best case if they would fix a couple of things.

The "faux" leather is nothing like leather. It feels like rubber denim jeans. Also the back cover where the material is pressed into the plastic starts to fray after four months. Lastly one of the corner clips put a dent into my iPad 2.

Thanks for posting code. Have used Smartsuit 2 for a year and was very pleased with it. Hate that I have to buy another one, but guess I'll just sell it with iPad 2 to sweeten deal. The Joy Factory originally advertised as leather, but when I emailed to complain that it wasn't, they denied they claimed it was leather and quickly removed leather from online description. It's not being leather wasn't particularly a deal breaker for me tho. I don't use 4 fold cover as stand so don't know if complaints about it's functionality are valid. As far as it's appearance, overall I'm pleased. IMO the texture on front and back looks nice; makes grip sure and defies dirt/oil from hands/grime. The smooth areas mixed with textured surface on back is also a nice touch.
