but you said that you do not remember your goal? as I said in my previous post, if you cannot achieve the goal anymore, it will not show anymore.I don't recall getting a notification that I completed the goal. I thought the monthly award shows as soon as the goal is completed. Is that not true?
That is exactly how it works. Don’t worry though, it’s almost August and you’ll get a fresh one.I don't know if I can achieve it because I don't know what it was. But maybe you mean that with only 6 days left in July, if it is impossible to achieve it then it simply disappears. In that case this explains it. Looking back on July I've only closed my rings 6 times. So I guess since it's likely impossible to achieve any potential goal with 6 done and 6 to go that seems to explain my 'issue'. Thanks for the clarification.
This has now happened severance times.Had a really strange day yesterday. My numbers at the end of the day were way off. I had a very light day, but the move ring was almost 800 and exercise ring was 80 minutes.
Then I noticed that for some reason the watch claims that I climbed 119 floors yesterday which I obviously did not…
Any chance there is another watch linked to your iPhone? Unpair them. Switch both off. Repair them and see if that helps. This has now happened severance times.
Also today which is my rest day and I have not done any exercise; green ring shows 70 minutes :-( 60 floors climbed.
I keep elevation as a stat on y running and walking workouts and it's been very common lately for the elevation to show "---" and on many of those days my floor climbing stats are through the roof (I'm living at an elevation of about 1400 feet so my suspicion is that the watch is counting those as zeroes.)Then I noticed that for some reason the watch claims that I climbed 119 floors yesterday which I obviously did not…
You do know that the AW uses primarily its barometric sensor to determine elevation gain. How is the weather in your area, esp pressure changes?I keep elevation as a stat on y running and walking workouts and it's been very common lately for the elevation to show "---" and on many of those days my floor climbing stats are through the roof (I'm living at an elevation of about 1400 feet so my suspicion is that the watch is counting those as zeroes.)
Yesterday, for example, I "climbed" 365 floors in a ten mile running workout. Today's is similar (109 floors at just past noon after a 6 mile easy run). That said: I also track calories burned per hour and my workouts are all similar that way, so I don't think it's inflating my move ring all that much.
How bizarre; you're the only person I've ever heard of this happening to.This has now happened severance times.

Not even close to hurricanes. It's been typical New England summer here, and this is not a pattern that follows sudden changes in barometric pressure at all. It seems random. And it's not showing a radical change in elevation - the elevation number just disappears and is replaced with "---" on the workout view. Sometimes it comes back and then disappears again, but usually once the elevation reading is gone, it stays like that. Apple Watch Ultra; I'm planning to upgrade it with one of this fall's watches. I do have a backup SE2 but haven't used it for a workout, and probably won't unless the Ultra stops working. You do know that the AW uses primarily its barometric sensor to determine elevation gain. I seem to recall posts here where people near hurricanes have seen wild numbers of elevation gains...
just one thing to consider...
Thanks for the tips. Tried them already. And no other watch, normal software.Any chance there is another watch linked to your iPhone? Unpair them. Switch both off. Repair them and see if that helps.
Not running any beta software are you? If none of that helps I’d book a Genius Bar appointment.
Well that sucks. Sorry to hear that. Thanks for the tips. Tried them already. And no other watch, normal software.
And no Genius Bars in my country.
Just got mine, looks the same.Wasn't sure if I was going to get this because I had to pause my rings for one day due to a long road trip.
