I don't understand why current iPhone owners can't just buy a phone and leave. I don't want anyone opening my iPhone box or handling my phone, putting it on a counter, etc. No way.
And what are they going to do? Have a bunch pre-opened for convenience/speed? Eww.
No no the IMEI number will be one the out side of the box and they will activate it that way! I hope!
Nope... open the boxes... they have to unbrick them.

No news anyone? Did they even talk about the iPhone 3G? I expected to see a post with news.

Hello Mr. Morning, my favorite time of day, rise and shine it's Apple time!
I heard they plan to lick each one before they hand them to us too....

if someone tried to lick my iphone i would have to give them something else to lick😡
Actually 2.0 has to come out before the 11th, because now according to the apple website, they put up a 2.5g to 3g upgrade steps and it says you have to have the current OS and Itunes for the 2.5g to back up for your new 3g. So my guess is before the 11th.
And i really hope so because i want to see once i have 2.0 do i really want the 3g phone than.
I can't imagine that they will enforce a limit of one per person when new customers are activating new family accnts and porting numbers.
They're going to need to activate both phones when setting up the account, right? Does anyone really think they'll send someone to the back of the line and suspend setting up the account or a transaction half way through the process? It doesn't seem like this would be wise logistically.
The odds that I'd get my wife to the store to wait in line are about equal to Apple launching a surprise 3g iphone in pink.
It's been said that they will strictly sell one per person, regardless of whether it's a family plan or not, according to the leaked documents as well. How exactly they're going to work that out with family plans is anybody's guess at this point.
