[doublepost=1562838058][/doublepost]This is bull - but it keeps happening to me. I get a reasonable challenge. July’s was to reach 200% of my move goal for 30 days. A reasonable challenge as I do that most days anyway.
I think it is because I wear my old series 0 while my 4 is charging. The monthly challenge normally changes to something ridiculous when I swap watches.

Apple’s calculations are a tad off on this one. 7.8 x 31 = 241.8

So 256.4 - 241.8 = 14.6... what’s this, magical miles?
They don't make it clear, but on my phone, that 7.8 represents what I need per day for the rest of the month given my miles so far.

I have the same challenge this month, and mine started out at 10.1 miles/day (314.2 total). After the first week I was ahead, and it dropped to 9.x/day. Last week, I only ran every other day and replaced the other 3 runs with cycling to let a minor muscle twinge heal, so now I'm a bit behind (11.1/day). (I biked 154.7 miles, including 83 yesterday, but I lost ground because I only ran 33.5 miles, plus a couple miles per day of walking.)

I'm at 16,031 of 31,000 cals on day 15 - so basically one day to spare so far.

Thats what i thought, until I checked how much I had left and calculated the miles. Was still off. I’m up to 9.2 miles a day subtracting what I already did. But the activity app says 8 miles a day.

Mine is similar... close the exercise ring 15 times in July. I've done 5 so far...

How are you doing so far? I’ve closed my exercise ring 9 times so far. I’m going on vacation for a week so I want to finish the challenge before then. We can do this!

Just hit #9 yesterday as well! I'll be doing workouts 3 days this week, which will bring me to 12 by the end of Friday. I'll be able to finish it up over the weekend and next week.

Yes, we can do this!

I forgot to check July's challenge.
Stand ring 26 times-I've done 14 to date-1 week approx to get 12 -quite possible

I'd forgotten about the monthly awards until I saw this thread. Mine is 3,200 exercise minutes. Despite doing a 100k walk during the month, which meant over 1,000 minutes in 24 hours, I'm still quite a bit off the pace and don't think I'm going to hit it.

100k walk? Nice! Was that for a competition? I was recently reading a Wikipedia entry about extreme walking competitions of the early 1900s. Among the most extreme of these competitors was a guy who walked 1 mile every hour for 1,000 hours. Absolutely fascinating. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pedestrianism
