March? Too late on that one... Pre-orders started in April. Maybe before the end May?
I unfortunately had to cancel my order due to PayPal being an *******. I was expected for Friday for my SS 42 classic and I just placed an order, now I've moved down to June! ###
The good thing is: many people have been canceling orders for different reasons so, I really do think we could be getting the watches during May!

doubt it, a few cancellations won't change the batch status. you would need something like 300-600k cancellations for orders prior to June to effect anything. By the time June orders ship Watches will be in stores for purchase. A lot of cancellations will happen in June
I will be purchasing one before june. Even if it costs me a little more on eBay or something. I can't wait that long. No way.
This is my feeling about it. It isn't long to wait really. Just ignore the others getting there's now as they got lucky.

But I'm also sure stores will receive stock before our orders come in.
I'm hoping Apple does the product reservation program they did with recent iPhone launches. Those always come in handy.
There's no way they're gonna leave stores without stock for weeks on end.

I think we'll get ours before June as well, but I'm not sure that the stores will have stock before ours ship. If you saw that memo from Apple's VP of retail, Angela something, I'd be pretty inclined to think that they're gonna try and honor the preorders before they get them in the stores.
I would honestly love if that happened, because in my eyes Apple SHOULD delegate 100% of their stock to those who pre-ordered within the first couple days at least.
However I really don't see them leaving stores unstocked, I feel like stores will be receiving drop shipments and nightly shipments. I don't think it will be as soon as the day the watch comes out like iPhones, but I see it happening a week or two down the line.
I kinda hope it does happen because that way I can definitely get my watch faster than waiting on my pre-order to be fulfilled.

Apple already reported that Watch will not be available for sale in-store till well after May.
Maybe i'll just grab one of the trays and run for my life. Things are getting pretty desperate here

Im off work at the minute, Apple store is 15minutes away and my gym is in the same town. Cant hurt to try. Want to go in and see what a non-launch looks like having worked the 4s, 5, iPad Retina, iPad mini and 5s launches before and know what they looked like lol

Either way, you eventually get an apple watch. If stores get it, maybe I'll go pick one up, if not, I'll wait for mine to arrive. We've lived without an apple watch for this long, we can wait a few more weeks.

I am hoping that i'll be able to find one for sale in Melbourne once the orders start rolling in and eBay gets flooded. Hopefully they come down in price.
After seeing and trying it on the fit and look are a non-issue.
I like the way apple rolled it out. Sure I have to wait until June but I am not fitting scalpers at the store like I had to do with the iphone. The fit sessions were a great idea. The only thing I would have like to have seen was a fully functioning watch in action. Perhaps a store phone and watch to demonstrate Apple Pay, music connectivity, and email. A simulated demo was nice but an interactive demo would have been better.
My order says June still :-(
Just spoke to Apple online customer help thingy and he said there is a chance the June date will change just they had to push the dates back as demand was very high. High possibility they will improve before June.
Still no movement. Spoke to an Apple rep also. And this is what they said. They said that now that they have taken care of the first batch of orders. (They are behind in sending them their delivery confirmations). But that the first batch of watches have been taken care of. So the June orders will begin to see a delivery date sometime late May very "soon". When I asked if they could clarify what soon meant. They couldn't specify any further.
Basically the way they put it, as each batch of orders is fulfilled. They bump up another group of ppl sooner. But that June orders most likely would be fulfilled sometime end of May.

UK charges have started going through, I didn't order till the 17th (had 3 try on appointments to be sure I definitely wanted one) so likely I wont be getting charged for a while, or receiving a watch.
I was getting depressed in the Order Thread for UK (BST) thread so came back here to hang out with other June folk.
In fact has anyone who made a preorder post April 10th had a payment taken yet?

Since "June" is so very vague and it already looks like some mid to late May orders are starting to receive charges, it seems like that's a good sign that when we actually get real shipment estimates, they'll improve.
At this point, I'd like to have some sort of idea of when in June heh. Early, mid, or late? I'm hoping early for me (ordered right after it slipped into the month)
