Isn't "June" generic enough. Why do they have to update to "June 22-June 29?" Why should I be grateful for going from June to June 22-June 29? The end of that range is 1 day from the end of June. Ultimately, what's the difference? So, why the need to update it?

First off...it's the first communication Apple has given us in over a month since ordering. Which shows 1. They're probably in the process of now making our product, and 2. They're acknowledging the fact that we even placed orders.

It also narrows it from 30 days to 7 days which I think is in some sense serving the customer by giving us a paired down order expectations. Just my thoughts though!

i think we will he seeing them sooner than Jun 22-Jun 29. people who ordered a week after me (4/13) got the same date so i know that will probably change soonly

I doubt they'll change shipping estimates; they'll more than likely keep it 22-29 and ship them early if they can ship them early.

Status update.

42mm SG BSB
Ordered 5/8
Originally "July" delivery
Updated to 6/23 - 7/8 delivery

I wasn't expecting the update to be honest, since I ordered so late. I am excited because I was expecting late July.

Mine also updated june 22 to june 29 delivery. This launch for apple watch really sucks. I feel just like everyone on here who is frustrated. Those of you making excuses for Apple need to accept this failure and stop bashing people who were anticipating a decent delivery time. We've all been reasonable with the delay but this is ridiculous. No matter how loyal you are this should not be acceptable to anyone.

I couldn't Agree!! More.

I ordered a 42mm SS WSB on 25th April with June as estimated delivery.

Checked my email today and noticed that Apple had dispatched it.

I ordered a Sport Watch with blue strap 26th April and had shipping in June. Checked today and processing, now shipped, delivery via ups Monday! It's a lot quicker than expected. It's a 42mm.#

I chatted with a rep online today, who said that more than likely it would ship sooner than that window. Probably just rhetoric, I don't know. I hope it isn't.

Well, if you look the Store Website, you'll notice that delivery estimates for new orders are at most 6-7 weeks for 42mm and 3-5 weeks for 38mm. I didn't look too in depth, but I saw that the only watch showing "June" was the $15k Edition watch..

I think that it is pretty safe to say that orders will be fulfilled before the estimates.

Good morning Australia,

Update from processing hell:

Order on – Model – Delivery ETA
10/04 – 42 SG BSB – changed back from 29/05 12/06 to 27/05 10/06

21/04 – Bright Blue Leather Loop Large (band only) – 25/05 01/06
-> CC charged -> EOD -> PFS -> Shipped -> Arrived(!)

27/04 – 38 SS WSB – 14/05 21/05
-> EOD -> CC charge -> PFS -> Shipped -> Arrived(!)

Also the delivery ETAs for most watches in the store was given a 2 week window instead of just a specific month.
Resulting in earlier delivery ETAs:

That's great. The people who preordered on 4/11 or me who preordered on 4/18 and people who buy it right now have basically the same ship dates. Yep that whole preorder thing is definitely worth it alright.

I hear you there.. Trust me.. Not too happy with how it's playing out.. Once I get it, I won't care anymore.

I believe many people have received their watches before the delivery window. It's likely based on what watch and region.

I basically didn't see early deliveries for the 42mm with Black Sports Band, Classic Buckle, Link, Modern Buckle and Leather Loops.
Many here which got the late June date are in for one of those models and need to be prepared to get it close to the provided day.
To me the supply problems are around the bands and not the watch.

With the sensor problem they had with one factory there should be plenty of bands. But that is not the case. As I posted my standalone 42mm Milanese watch band ordered over a month ago has the 22 to 29 June date.

What you're saying makes sense but then I can't explain why the individual link bracelet is half the wait time? They obviously have the stock so the bottleneck has to be the watch assembly process.

I got a shipping date of June 26 to July 6 - ordered mine on April 16 - hopefully they ship them early. I know that many pre orders with shipping estimates for May got their watches on the april 24 so hopefully similar scenario here

I ordered mine on 4/23 & 4/30 and got the June 22 to June 29 window .. How is that possible ?

Here is my case for orders in Hong Kong.
Originally ordered 38mm Sport PSB for my wife on 10 Apirl. The shipping date was first half of May.
Some how she decided to get 42mm instead. So I cancelled the order and create a new one on 20 Apirl. And today i finally got a concrete deliver date 22june -29june.
10 days order difference caused 1.5 months delivery schedule difference. Not to mention the 38 mm sport wsb I ordered for myself had arrived on launch date.
The wait is just too long.

I noticed that a new order on the apple app for the 42 SG BSB has a lead time of 6-7 weeks. My July delivery updated today for 5-7 weeks. That leads me to believe It is more likely to ship in 5 rather than 6-7.

I'm anxiously awaiting June delivery, but have no right to complain.

See, I got a 42mm SG Sport on launch day and sold it for $1200. That paid for the 42mm SS Watch coming in June. A little delayed gratification is going a long way for me!
