Just asking - What would you do if your boss drops your iPhone 6

WOW guys after all the frustration and the going back and forth about my issue with my cracked iPhone 6. I went to the apple store to get my screen fix and to find out that my screen was not cracked. It was my glass screen protector that i had on the phone lol. I was so relief that i did not had to pay 110 for a screen. So its worth spending 35 bucks for a glass screen protector everyone.

haha, and that is my my brother in law's 6 Plus has a solid screen protector and thick back and side gel case, make it kiddy proof from my niece and nephew :D

Well I guess it's a good thing you didn't go in all pissed off and demanding your boss fix your phone!

I would have to wake up from a dream if it happened to me. They pay me $3300 a month not to come to work. It is called retirement. I haven't had a boss in years.

Been there done that. It was a 4S though, caseless of course.

Being a boss/manager you need to keep up appearances and take responsibility for your actions. I drove the employee to the Apple store while he was getting paid even though he said the crack was no big deal. Paid to fix the screen so no money needed to come out of his pocket. Then we went to lunch compliments of a company card. :D

There is a lot of ways something like this can turn into a headache down the road. If your the boss and don't say anything or try to weasel your way out of it then how can you expect your employees to not do that in their day to day task? I can almost hear it in my head "Oh like how you broke Joes phone?".....no thanks.

IMO this isn't just a boss/employee thing though. Although I would handled it differently I would pay to repair or replace a complete strangers phone if I broke it.

Why would your boss be holding your iPhone? An iPhone is a very personal item, I don't let anyone touch mine.. including my boss.

Perople show things on their phone to someone else, like some photos or videos or something along those lines? In many instances it's more natural and convenient for the other person to hold the device when they are doing something like that. It's not unusual at all for many.

Fair point. But, I would only be comfortable allowing someone else to hold my iPhone if they first handed me $700.
