I wouldn't worry about the decision at all. Enjoy the phone.

Last year I bought a iPhone 4 on launch and then wen out and bought a 32GB 3GS and an 8GB 3GS and activated those on two year contracts. Haven't regretted those either.

It's a guess, of course. But it's very likely given that they included the LED Flash feature.. for most people that's just too bright. And a simple LED at the front is effortless to integrate.

hopefully it will be on the iphone 4gs/5

I wouldn't sweat it.

Steve loves the design of the iPhone 4 so that's not going to change anytime soon. I would bet we will see an iPhone 4S. A bit faster, etc. but nothing monumental like iPhone 4.
