Do you guys seriously think he's trying to send an email to steve jobs? It's just a vehicle for getting apple's attention, as that email address is highly monitored and problems are usually resolved when an email is sent to sjobs@apple.com.

Don't you think the effectiveness of people getting problems solved via that email goes down when people are using it over a measly $6 charge that was their own fault?

Try other channels first...

I estimate you have already wasted 12 + hours worrying about your 6 dollars. That means you value your time at less than 50 cents an hour. On top of that you want to waste an apple employees time to give you a refund for your mistake. I'm sure apple doesn't have time to play with everyone that doesn't like their app and wants a refund. If you buy software and open it you can't return that either. They have rules like that to keep people honest.
