I ended up buying the 6 64GB but I'm still concerned about RAM. I know it isn't a problem right now but do you guys think the phone will run smoothly on IOS 9 or even 10 when they come out?

I'm worried the 6S will have added RAM so the next versions of IOS will be designed for that and not run well on the 6.

Your phone is already obsolete before you even bought it.

Apple are already working on the next two iphone. ;)

Let's see how much RAM they'll put into next iPad before thinking about 6S.
I'm not worried, I think our iPhone 6 will be ok for at least a couple of years.
By the time iOS 10 will be ready iPhone 7 will be out, so I don't really care about version 10

Well put it this way, you have the most up to date iPhone so why would you worry? The phone will be fine for at least 2 years and I assume you will upgrade in that time anyway.

The 6S will undoubtedly be a slightly better phone, it always is. If you are that worried you could always wait for the 6S, but then the iPhone 7 comes out a year later. There is always a better phone 12 months later lol. Just enjoy your phone ;)

These phones are good for 3-4 years to stay current. The 4S still does well and is supported by the latest iOS. I used to do the 2 year upgrade on the subsidized plan renewal trap.

Every 2 years still seems to be the best for me. I am on the non-S cycle. So the phones I've had are 3G, 4, 5, 6... If the 6 had 2 gigs of ram that would be awesome, but Apple needs another selling point for the 6S.

Me personally I'm waiting for the iPhone 10 (rumor has it that it will be called the iPhone X and the iPhone X+ and that they are actually working on the iPhone Xs+ already).:D:D:D;);):p:p:p:p:p:p:p

But seriously nothing is future proof it degrades in value as soon as you buy it...if you buy the 128GB version though you can probably make a better profit in the future and keeping it clean and undamaged (by whatever means) helps too.
