My girlfriends moms cousins nephews sisters husbands stepsons pet monkey saw a box with a large letter A on it being delivered in the same shopping complex as a best buy. The A could mean Apple!!!!

New MBPs are imminent!!

Yes, very pixelated. But the text is very large so you must have resized the picture using an image editor or zoom tool before uploading it? Of course it's gonna look pixelated in some way if you do that.
No I just screened it and uploaded
what do you mean there's no way to know? Either there's new Apple stuff at BB today or it was all hogwash
Or it's something they haven't put up yet.
epic Fake Fail:d
Why? I didn't say that new products were going to come out on this day. I had some information and passed it on to you.

That's hardly the same as me saying that my father delivered a box.

Even though new products were introduced today, I wasn't lying. I had information, and I gave it to you guys.

That's cool Appleguy!

Thanks for taking the time, it didn't amount to anything but hey it's all good :)

Is anyone going to Best Buy in the near future? Apple did say that they would have iPads on release day (just today in fact), and it wouldn't be unlikely for the to have promo material out.

Yep, you only expect to have some ipad or MBP inside. But it's not a big deal, it was really funny to see people expecting some magical new device inside a mysterious box coming from out of space sent 3 weeks before it can be opened ;)

c'mon kid, you don't get to play that card now. I'm not saying you're full of bs or not, since I haven't gone to best buy myself, and going to give it some time for people to report back. But there's NOOOO way a mystery box has been sitting in BEst Buy retail store for weeks with an ominous "don't open until March 23rd" sigh, and the day comes and they do nothing with it. If they were there, that date would be there for a reason. And at the very least, one of the many number best buy employees that frequent this forum should have some inkling as to what they are no...if they exist. Gonna give you the benefit of the doubt for about 24 hours, but please don't make yourself foolish trying to derive some excuses after the fact.

You're going to give him 24 hours? lol How nice of you. Better run, Appleguy...

It seems the way Apple works is like this: If you're an Apple authorized reseller you jump when Apple says jump. So I wouldn't be surprised if Apple said to Best Buy: "Hold this package until the date, then follow the instructions. Don't like it? Too bad, don't sell our products then". I'm not saying that's what happens, but I can see Apple doing that. Anyway, thanks again Appleguy for the info.

wow, some of you really do live in a world where you think Apple has any more juice in the retail business than any of the 1000's of other suppliers out there, don't you? Best Buy isn't jumping through any hoops for Apple there guy. Do you have any idea what a small percentage of BB's business is derived from them? that's why I really think it's unlikely they'd hold anything for weeks without knowing what it is and take up valuable inventory space.

Considering they have a cult like following, I would imagine they're business partners either drink the kool aid willingly or they're force fed it. I mean I'm basing this off how I see Apple, a lot like a very controlling governmet where you are forced to buy health insurance (I refuse to get into a political debate, so no one comment on that comparison =P the mods would be upset).

Anyway my point is that I FEEL that Apple would press authorized resellers to hold onto packages like that. I could be wrong, but that's why they call it an opinion. Nothing to be wowed about...

Of all the people who read this forum, isn't there someone who works at Best Buy or someone who knows someone who works there?

That's been the most surprising thing to me, that after these few weeks, there's been no one to verify that such deliveries were sitting around waiting to be opened...

What happened to the guy who said he worked at Best Buy and was going to check out the warehouse?

It's a conspiracy!

Mysterious box for the 23rd of March, missing Best Buy employees... Great Scott! You're right! It is a conspiracy! Someone call Mulder and Scully!! :p
