I've personally never understood why people fuss over multi window. I had a tab s 10.5 for about 6 months before I got my air 2 and never used MW. I tried it but just don't understand the use for it.

i used 3 windows on my Note: one for writing code, second for searching info and third for testing the code. now with kitkat im only able to run two windows side by side... but especially when making notes, another window for reading that specific article is great... i cant think about anything else so frustrating than switching between windows.

re: going full screen on a 24" display, etc.

Well, see if those 9 out of 10 users still do that when you give them a 27" or a 30" monitor? As someone using a system at home with 3 27" screens on it, I can tell you I practically never do it anymore.

The truth is, even 24" isn't really enough screen real-estate to make a lot of people happy only using part of it for an application.

But yeah, I completely agree with your point. I'm not sure how much use people will really get out of working in multiple windows on a portable device with a 10" screen or so. I'd say most cases where someone might want to do it, they'd actually be just as productive by task switching between the apps instead, like you have to do in iOS.

I have to say I agree. 9 people out of 10 when using a *24-inch* desktop monitor will zoom and maximize every window, every time. Multitasking is left for cmd-tab or the dock / start bar. Why these same people think they want to suddenly start using multiple windows on a 10, 8, or even 7-inch screen is completely beyond me.

(And if it's not the same people, guess what? You're in a small minority, so get used to the situation or use Android. :) )

Its not that's its frustrating. Its just cool and more fun to have both open honestly. I tired the tab S yesterday and i loved that feature! The screen was awesome as well. It was kinda slow and the rest was very meh though so i will most likely be sticking with iPad.... even if its at a later date.

Use it for a week then return it and try the other android device your looking at then make your decision. If your still confused then just sit on your money until your sure. That's what I've done a few times with best buy. I have the same issue with the air 2 and mini 2 I can't decide which I like best so for now I'm using both until I can make up my mind.
