Just got my PowerMac G5

As mentioned in another thread, I too just recently got a G5 power mac, my second, this one should be my last, they do not come much better then the 2.5 quad.
As most others, I too am totally impressed by this beast, it is fast and quiet, important when it sits on the desk right next to your ears.

Awesome, looks like a good machine, after having mine about a month all I can say is I love it. I'm never going back to windows...EVER. Haha

Haven't had a single problem with it and it runs fantastically. I use it for practically everything, I honestly don't even think I have touched a windows PC since I got it. In a couple of hours I'm going to pick up a 1.25 GHz eMac. My second PowerPC baby..haha

Those 1.25Ghz eMacs are very nice. They overclock very well. I have one and love it.

I'm glad to hear it...I'm picking up two of them, one for me and the other for my cousin. Getting a really good buy on them.

I love the G5, ever since it came out I wanted one. I've bought a couple of G5 cases to put my PC based servers into as I think they look superb when next to each other or stacked. This year I finally made the switch and had my first osx experience on a late 2005 2.0 DC G5 with 1 gig of ram (this make the machine very artificially slow; make sure you have atleast 4) in trade for my windows laptop.

Heres a couple of pictures since we are all G5 design aficionados. While the G5 isn't my primary machine, their cases will live on as a testament to awesome engineering and design.
