Editing the lock screen is okay. I was hoping you could customize where the flashlight and camera icons would show. I accidentally hit the flashlight button way too often and would rather remove it or move it to somewhere else on the lock screen.

I was about to update to 15.7 & then noticed 16 was also available. Not sure if I should do it yet…& I’m usually the first to update these things.

The fact Apple gives me two IOS options doesn’t make me trust 16 so much….

The same option was there on iOS 15 release. You could have updated to the latest iOS 14 release or go to 15.

Have to admit, first iOS update in a while where I haven’t had any issues in 24 hours. I downloaded late yesterday evening, so it was after the App Store issues and updating. No issues throughout the day, new features are nice and loving the album artwork takes up the screen now. Widgets on the Lock Screen seem to blend with some of my photos, but a little adjusting and it was fine.

Does anyone know how to set up a Lock Screen with your old Lock Screen image? I don’t really even remember where in my library the photo is from let alone exactly how I zoomed it to be the perfect Lock Screen wallpaper. How about setting it up without changing your regular wallpaper too? I just want to add the functionality, not change my current screens and photos…

You can have two different photos for lock and home, it's extremely clumsy to make it work!

Yes, using two different photos is clumsy. What’s worse is that you can’t have a photo on your lock screen and an Apple wallpaper as your background. I want a photo of my daughter on my lock screen but the weather wallpaper as my background. It seems that Apple is incapable of doing this in iOS 16 although I had it setup that way in iOS 15. Any solutions yet? Will there be an update?
