I should've went for this. I instead went for the iFrogz anti-glare screen protectors and they look like utter garbage. They fit well, protect the screen well and really cut back on the grease/fingerprints/grime you get on the glass, but they make the retina display look like the screen is wet with pixelation/rainbow effect.

I also bought a Belkin gripview case which is actually pretty nice though.

It was funny, they had the Invisible Shield for Sprint phones on clearance for $1.99 and $2.99, and the same material for the iPhone mere feet away was $27.99 or something like that.

I did have the Best Skins Ever for iPhone and a Best Skins Ever for my 2G and 3G iPhones, and they were nice, so maybe I'll take the iFrogz back and exchange them for the Invisible Shield.

Invisible shield was offering 10% off purchases when installed in their store next to the Apple store yesterday when I got my phone but I forgot all about them when I got my phone.

Anyone have photos with this on the 4?

I dont have any bubbles on mine at all. Infact went on very easly.

there are cut out slits big enough for the camera areas so the cam and light front and back not covered.

If you have fine bubbles these will go away after couple of days. I can hardly tell mine is in place. When looking at the phone you can tell there is a protective covering but doesnt take away from the phone at all....Rather have the protection than worried about what someone thinks

I had Zagg IS on my 3GS. I hated the orange peel look. Also invishields are known for 'scratches' and they usually don't go away. I had two different Best Buy stores install them. After 4 tries(2 at each location and 3 different people), I gave up as the screen looked WAAAAAY better without it.

I may consider other options for the iPhone 4, but not IS.

Dried pretty good!!

Couple of bubbles here and there but nothing too bad!

However, I didn't notice until now but when the screen is on, you can clearly see a piece of fiber trapped against the screen! Dammit! :p

I installed the same invisible shield, purchased at Best Buy. I didn't care for the look or feel of it. It was too rubbery and made my fingers kind of skip across the screen. It wasn't very smooth feeling. I left the back on because it helps with slipping and obviously protects. I have already removed it on the front. I need something a little smoother that doesn't look uneven from side angles. I was pretty disappointed in the product, although it certainly feels like it would protect really well. I've used other screen protectors that I've been happy with, so I'll look for another option.

I have the same problem with mine, I didn't know if I was just weird though. I am going to get another screen protector whenever my AT&T store gets some in.

I'm very eager to try Power Support's when it is available. I will then have a zagg on the back, power support on the front and a bumper on the sides. Pretty pricey way of doing it, but it should protect, look and feel awesome.

When I bought my IS online, it came with a solution that was suppose to be sprayed on my fingers and on the sticky side of the protector. I have heard this is a baby oil + water type of mixture that they use when applying window tint to cars.

The solution allowed me to put the protector on my phone and slide it into place while making any adjustments with ease. The solution also prevented any bubbles. I then used the plastic squeegee to push out all the moisture to the sides.

The shield looks great and is only noticeable because of the edges of the earpiece cutouts. At first, it wasn't very easy to slide my fingers across the screen. As someone mentioned, my fingers kind of skipped across. After a day of use though, the screen feels great. I am using the IS in combination with a bumper and the look and protection of the setup is great.

If the front camera covered? If so, how does this affect performance?

theres a cutout around the front camera and speaker along with a cut out around the home button for ease of pressing, and a cut out around back camera and flash

this is my first iphone and i wanted to protect it so i got the bumper and IS front and back

it came out great took me 5mins no bubbles whatsoever i like the feel of it, when putting the bumper on it started to take off the back right of the protector so its a little up on that side but other than that i think my phone is now perfect

Varrrrry Niiiiiiicccccccceeeee

I had a invisishield on mine however after a day the sides started coming up extremely bad due to the bumper. Is it because I installed it wrong, or did I not wait long enough after installing it? I waited for 24 hours and then installed the case. After an hour of the case being on, almost all sides were starting to raise up.

Suggestions?

Thanks

I installed my bumper just seconds after applying IS it's all how you put the bumper on carefully not to agitate the sides to make them come off took me a few tries of taking bumper off and re squeegeeing the film back down til i got something acceptable

hmmm invisible shield is ok, but I do wish it would cover the sides...

does wrapsol cover the sides?

I've read lots of bad things about ghostarmor, so I don't want to go with them, does anyone know any other brands that cover the whole phone?

thanks!

Bodyguardz and IS both cover the sides if you get the version that covers the sides lol...

You must have did something wrong. I installed invisible shield and have taken the bumper off three times and the sides are very secure and stuck on good.

Not all though.

I've had three Invisible Shields - two for my 3G, both of which peeled off. I bought the maximum coverage for the iPhone because of the 50% off coupon and just put it on tonight. Just like the last two, it looks as though someone sneezed all over the phone. We'll see how much of that disappears--but I'm not holding my breath.

Should have had someone put it on for you at the store. That way if they mess up, they can just get another.

I bought the bodyguardz back/sides only, feel like i shoulda bought the front to now :/

Doesn't Invisible Shield make a full body version that does cover the sides?

You think taking a stunning device like the iPhone 4 and covering it up with orange-peel effect screens and a 'tard bumper makes it "perfect". Oh dear...

What happens when you try taking it off?

I want to get a Invisible Shield just for the back, not worried about the front. My iPhone screen has never scratched.
