What happens when you try taking it off?

I want to get a Invisible Shield just for the back, not worried about the front. My iPhone screen has never scratched.

It comes off pretty easy -- in fact usually by itself after a short period!

Does this come with protection for the sides of the phone?

And if so, does it fix the dropped reception issue?

I installed the zagg full body and it does help the reception issue alot but occasionally i still drop 2 or 3 bars but it never drops all the bars.

Anybody install the IS and have some streaking under the shield? I have no bubbles, but I have very light vertical streaking that somewhat bothers me as it compromises the greatness of the retina screen. I have re applied it multiple times but can't get it to go away.

I installed IS on the front and back a couple days ago. It went on fine, any tiny bubbles disappeared over night. It's only visible around the cut-outs. Looks great otherwise.

I haven't used these before. The orange peel effect is kind of weird. I really don't like the feel of it either. I think it makes the IP4 feel cheap and almost rubbery.

I like the protection though. I have no fear of scratching this thing for sure. Maybe the strong adhesive will add a little shatter protection too, idk.

I think i will shop for a different front protector. I want something to feel a little more like the glass. I'll leave the IS on the back because it does seem to prevent the device from sliding around on most surfaces.

I'm thinking about getting the Wrapsol. I want to protect the edges of this thing too.

They will go away in a couple days once it is completely dried.

I love te zagg full protection dry install. It was incredibly easy to install because the protectors are attached to an applicator that lines it up perfectly.

The reason I'm not putting it on the i4 is because of the oleophobic coating, and I read that it ruins it. Not sure how important the coating is in the first place but, I'm in no rush to find out the hard way.

Wha .... got some linkage you can share? Anyone else hear of this? The 3GS has the same coating, so should be common knowledge if true.

Installed one on the front of my phone and my wife's phone. (hers was much better with the extra experience I gained from my install ;)). As others say, some orange peel look, but not much. There is a rubbery feel that I really don't care for. Will wait for the market to mature a bit more then probably go with something else.

I should've went for this. I instead went for the iFrogz anti-glare screen protectors and they look like utter garbage. They fit well, protect the screen well and really cut back on the grease/fingerprints/grime you get on the glass, but they make the retina display look like the screen is wet with pixelation/rainbow effect.

I also bought a Belkin gripview case which is actually pretty nice though.

It was funny, they had the Invisible Shield for Sprint phones on clearance for $1.99 and $2.99, and the same material for the iPhone mere feet away was $27.99 or something like that.

I did have the Best Skins Ever for iPhone and a Best Skins Ever for my 2G and 3G iPhones, and they were nice, so maybe I'll take the iFrogz back and exchange them for the Invisible Shield.

That's the exact reason I took mine off and went with the Zagg. So far so good and I'm back to actually enjoying the beauty of the screen. Fun times.

The rainbow effect was why I took off the IS from my Nexus One, 3GS, and iPad. But I'm considering getting it installed just on the back of the iP4.

I have like 2-3 lines like that, it got installed at like 10:00AM on Friday.

I installed the Zagg Invisible Shield front today. It was a little finicky to get on and I got a bunch of bubbles which I squeegeed out. I'm not having any orange peel effect, whatever that is. It's still as smooth and as sharp as the original glass, just a little stickier.

And with a shield on the iphone, if you do drop and crack the glass the shield would keep it in place until you can get a new iphone.

I'm going to take mine back to best buy to reapply because there are a couple very tiny pieces of hair or something very similar underneath the film, no bubbles though.

You think taking a stunning device like the iPhone 4 and covering it up with orange-peel effect screens and a 'tard bumper makes it "perfect". Oh dear...

To each his own, so when you drop and shatter your phone don't whine on the forums.

I just installed mine, full body.

Another poster claims it has improved the it reception. Mines made no difference.

The thing is, if I do have to replace the phone due to the non-issue, I'm going to have to remove the IS and try to re-install it on the new one. Or just buy a new one!

Yup, I'll get IS for the back of the iPhone 4, but not the front. I don't like the feel and there's nothing like the touch of the glass. It's smoother and faster and while texting or typing I'm just not that confident in IS providing a similar smoother and faster movement about the glass...

People who got the invisible shield, did you guys end up installing the home button?

It looks really tacky with both the home button and outer ring installed, and it looks lacking with just the home button installed. I'm thinking of just removing that part all together.
