just installed iOS5, if you have any questions:

two questions.
When you get a notification inside of an app, and the notification slides in from the top, do you just tap it to see it?
And, while in say safari, does the default action of "tap clock to get to the top" still work now that the notifications bar is up there?

you cant even tell you are sending an imessage until after its been sent. regular SMS are the standard lime green, iMessages are baby blue. the top messages were from before i had ios5. heres a picture to explain:

So iMessages was transparent.
IE if sending message to person using iOS5 use iMessage, if sending to anyone else use sms?

I also noticed the part where you enter text says iMessage. In iOS 4.3.3 it says nothing.

tapping the clock still returns you to the top. you can tap to see the notification - it will send you to the app that the notification is from, it will go away after ~3 seconds and then you can slide from the clock downward and a drawer comes down show you all notifications and you can just pick which notification youd like to go to.
yes, that is correct, and the read receipt is off by default. but it does indeed work, and it does show when they are typing, all of that works. very neat.

Have there been any changes to the Music app (apart from the icon). I know they updated the iPad version, I was curious (hoping) they added some features to the iPhone version though I'm not particularlly confident..
i see no changes aside from the icon and it saying music instead of ipod.
In the past all betas required a paid dev account and the GM's didn't. Same here OP? Sucks too as it really looks brilliant. I'd give up my jailbreak for it honestly.
No. What would be the point of iMessage if it counts towards your text messaging usage? It will work on the iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad, so use your logic here. It really is a no-brainer.
Use of multiple accounts with iOS 5?
I have 3 Apple accounts I use.
one US account, one UK account - both of these are for itunes music/apps
and
one mobileme account for email and contacts
Can you still add multiple accounts?
I assume that the account you initially use is for backing up the phone so that would be best to use the account with the MOST purchases on it from Apple but I still want to be able to access my ME information.
Can you fill me in on that? cheers!

yeah ive been jailbroken since the 3G, i gave it up for this, only thing i miss is bitesms so far.
theres no option for custom sms tones, but there is a buy more tones option at the top.
just checked notifications settings and saw no option for alarm, odd.
so i tested an alarm for 9:04 and it gave an old notification pop up, same as its always been, nothing in notification center, just a pop up, snooze still there.
assuming that will be changed throughout upcoming betas.
Is the "LED flash for alerts" option available? If so, what does it do? Flash the screen or camera flash?
ipod is still the same, just a changed icon and renamed to music.
ive experienced no crashes or anything so far, only thing that doesnt work that ive encountered is theres no wallpapers in the wallpapers folder, it just shows up white.
yes it is still there, the camera LED flash lights up and blinks. just turned it on and had a test text message sent to me.
also can change vibrations, and even create yer own custom vibration:
I used it for one of the beta 4s. Worked fine for me and I paid $5.99 or $6.99. Was not free. Add them as friend on facebook? Damn easy, open up a dummy facebook account, with no real name and no photo and no details. Add them as a friend.
