Copying something brilliant from Android does not seem like a bad thing for those of us that liked the feature in Android and wanted to see it in iOS. I'm excited that the one thing I miss about my Infuse is making it's way to my new iPhone.

I'm curious to those new developers like me. How long does it take apple to verify your account, and get you started to use the Developers account. It says 24 hours, but I assumed it would be sooner.

I signed up around 5pm CST. My brother is a CS student, so it was partly to let him have access to publish some apps, and partly to update the 5 iPhones we have in the house and both iPads.

If you could help me out too I would forever be in your debt. I paid to have my iPhone added, but can't afford to also do my iPad and I really want to try out iCloud.

You should get imessages on your iPad but not actual SMS carrier texts

When I signed up for my dev account a couple months ago, I did it in the evening and I didn't get the e-mail until the next morning. I don't know how long it usually takes, but it was definitely not instant.

Thanks, I assumed it would be in the morning since I hadn't heard anything yet. It's almost 10:30pm here, and I submitted my application for iOS Development a few hours ago. Looks like I'll have a ton of stuff to do tomorrow morning.
